  1. Tofu usualy is nastay, but same people know how to make it tasty. I'm sure even you would like it! The stuff you guys eat for Thanksgiving sure looks awesome on TV, all dishesh we do not cook over here. Someday some Americans have to invite me to come over for Thanksgiving.
  2. My favorite version of This Christmas is by Joe. I like White Christmas by Babyface. I also like R.Kellys Christmas song. Faith Hills album is nice too. JFFP ofcourse.
  3. I like Mariahs Christmas albums, I like Ashantis, I like Brian McKnights, I like Jazz Christmas albums.. I pretty much like most R&B christmas albums realy, if they are not overproduced
  4. Ashanti's albums weren't as good as they could have been. The only album is actualy listen too, next to her Christmas album, is The Declaration .I think not working with Irv improved her sound. I realy, realy like her Christmas album tho. I think it is very good, because most Christmas albums coming from R&B/Pop singers tend to be overproduced or at least close to it. Her isn't, it's realy basic and realy puts her in the spotlight. Her version of Silent Night and Joy To The World show that she has a beautiful voice. I like Mariah new Christmas album too btw.
  5. Nice. Straight to my Christmas playlist. I have to get used to her voice tho, not a big fan yet.
  6. Oh I did like some of her songs. I just don't think she is a good singer, she has even less of a voice than Ashanti or Janet. But they all made some good songs, it's al about the song with them realy. Maybe they are just pretending those voices tho, because on her Christmas album Ashanti actualy realy sings with a strong voice.
  7. I dont think she can sing.. I'm sorry but come on.. She is fine tho, she kinda looks she stopped getting older after 18
  8. As ya'll know Thanksgiving does not realy exist over here. Yet I, growing up with amercian tv shows and all that, have always been kinda fascinated with it and I think it is a lovely holiday. To make it short: Happy Thanksgiving, my Americans.
  9. Yeah thanks man, I've always been somehow fascinated by Arrested Development
  10. I'm not saying you have to like this, buit calling it wack should be difficult.
  11. @ AJ: That is what I am trying to tell you: You cant preview this. Almost no beat stays the same for more than 30 seconds and almost every song is more than 6 minutes. And Kanyes rapping is just what it needs to be for this album because he is not trying to make a Rakim album, it's not about spitting at all, you hav to think outside the Hip Hop box. Back to back on a good stereo, I'm telling you, it's very important to understand this album. I'm not a Stan or anything, Ya'lll know that, the only Kanye album I consider beeing as good as people say it is is his second one - College Dropout was just "good" to me and Graduation was "average" to me". I also never considered him te be a very good MC, just good enough to carry a song with right concept. But this album, and I am not crazy, is a piece of art. Kanye put all of his knowledge of music in there and he naild it.
  12. Wow. What can I say? Kanye made a freaking masterpiece here, this album is nothing less than a piece of art. I did not like the singles that much at firts, but now that I listened to the whole album it all makes sense. So all of you, yes also you AJ, who should to listen to this before making a judgement - you have to listen to it back to back or else you'll miss the point of this album. Kanye breaks all the rules here: Verse-Hook-Verse-Hook-Verse? Three minutes playtime for each track? 16 bars? **** that. Kanye does not care and by not doing that he hit the nail with this one. This album is everything Graduation wanted to be. He pushed the envelopue with this one, I cant even describe it. This truely is one of the best albums I ever heard. This is art. Every little piece fits, even the ones you didn`t expect reading the tracklist, from Nicki to vocoder to tribal sounds to violin solos and Chris Rock just talking for two minutes. Its crazy I tell you. I'm telling this to all of you who doubt Kanye: Listen to this album back to back (not on youtube but on a good stereo!!), let it sink in and than tell me that this isn't freaking classic! I'll bet ya!
  13. Yeah Uhser fell off hard too in my opinion.
  14. @ Visqo: S Club Seven.... You might wanna consider CA
  15. They did a show here recently but I missed it. It is time for them to release some new stuff isn't it.
  16. Kanye is avantgarde and for some people because of that a little difficult. He's an artist, I heard it happens. DMX is ****ed upped. You do not get ****ed upped because you use drugs, you use drugs because you are ****ed up. He hurts animals, he hurts people, he hurts himself and there realy is no excuse anymore. There is a diffrence between beeing a "douche" and between beeing a just plain screwed up, bad person like DMX is.
  17. Thats what people say.I hate that video so much. The song is annying too. I cant stand it, haha. It was the most espensiove one ever made tho.
  18. They could, but they could also make battle tracks against each other. I mean that is one of the essences of Hip Hop.
  19. The Beastie Boys, thanks for bringin them up Ted. Any list without them is no real list at all.
  20. I do not agree. If they find a reason to diss him, why shouldn't they, this is Hip Hop we are talking about, it's also competition. They can still give him respect.
  21. Ugh.. I dont like Paris.. But good find man, I`m gonna go to one of the biggest record fairs in the world tomorow and i'm hoping to find stuff like that too
  22. I think Will Smith, just like LL, could make this list when you include the works of JJFP. I would not put them in the list together, even tho I love Jazzy. I would put him in a producer list. List like this to me are more about the vocalists. Now when it came to LL vs. Will I looked at the impact realy and I just put LL above Fresh Prince, even tho it was close. I decided to put only one of them in the list because to me they are very simular, even tho LL has tocuhed a little more subject in his music.
  23. R. Kelly, Mariah Carey, MJB, Prince, Tupac, LL Cool J, Janet Jackson, Public Enemy, Prince, Boyz II Men. Honorable mentions: Jay-Z, Biggie, Will Smith (I realy had to decide betweem him and LL), MJ (I still feel difficult counting him to the Hip Hop/R&B group), Nas, Rakim, Destinys Child, Snoop Dogg, Rakim, P. Diddy (not as musician, but as mogul), Usher, Joedic and spin-offs (lol), Luther, Eminem, 50 Cent and more... I realy think I could pull a list of 50 off :D
