  1. 30 Hip Hop albums by 30 artists and groups that I loved in the 00's. No order, not more than one album from the same artist to keep it more diverse. Kanye West - Late Registration Jay Z - The Blueprint Common - Be Pusha T - My Name Is My Name Ja Rule - R.U.L.E. Will Smith - Lost & Found DJ Jazzy Jeff - The Magnificent LL Cool J - The G.O.A.T. The Game - Doctor’s Advocate Bun B - Trill Blu & Exile - Give Me The Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them Fashawn - Boy Meets World Fat Joe - All Or Nothing Cam’ron - Come Home With Me Lil Kim - The Naked Truth YG - My Krazy Life Remy Ma - There’s Something About Remy: Based On A Tru Story Snoop Dogg - The Blue Carpet Treatment Living Legends - Classic Rhymefest - Blue Collar Method Man & Redman - Blackout 2 Ghostface Killah - Ghostdini: Wizard Of Poetry In Emerald City J. Cole - Friday Night Lights Ice Cube - Laugh Now, Cry Later Beastie Boys - To The Five Boroughs Maino - If Tomorrow Comes The Roots - Game Theory Statik Selektah - Spell My Name Right EMC - The Show Wale - Attention Deficit This list is by no means set in stone. I am actually right now thinking I should replace the EMC album with Masta Ace's "A Long Hot Summer", but it does not matter. Also, I do not claim that these are the 30 best albums. These are simply 30 albums that have been important to me in the last 14 years.
  2. Not sure I think TV is much better than it used to be in the mid 2000's. Just the revival of scripted television comedy due to the second sitcom spring is doing a lot of good
  3. I have a bad feeling somehow.. I like Take It, but Ratchet is terrible.. Also that is a really terrible name for an album.. especially if the first single is Ratchet.. Cover sucks too.. BUT LL is my favorite Rapper, so I will buy it anyway, and who knows, maybe its dope
  4. Yeah I know what you mean. When I make a christmas playlist, its 90% not rap but I put in some rap tracks and punk tracks here and there to lighten the mood.
  5. Christmas and Rap doesn't really work anyway. I will be bumping this Mix as soon as its time
  6. I think he's not producing a lot. He does some stuff; his own stuff and stuff for people he likes.. and sometimes he get's asked to do beats I think, for example I believe he has one on the Machine Gun Kelly Album. But he does a lot of touring.. I just don't think he is very active as a producer if you know what I mean. He just does it for himself, his friends and if specifically asked to by a Rapper.. But I don't think he's making millions of beats and sending out beat tapes to labels and stuff like that. He's a DJ first.
  7. He promotres Ratchet a lot tho on social media, which is a shame cause everybody is making fun of that song. the other one is getting love tho.
  8. Dont go to hotnewhiphop.com.. go to 2dopeboyz.com this is epic btw
  9. Lets put things in perspective shall we.. I wanna see more of Gabi Union plz.. also nice to see him perform
  10. Much better but there is room for much more, the beat is average, LL can be much better.. Always nice to hear Joe tho
  11. This is absolutely terrible. Everything about this song is whack. 50 hasn't even released anything this bad in the last few years.
  12. Yeah I like them too.. I think they are still working with each other.. The last "big" song they did that I know off was download for Lil Kim.. They did her whole album but it was never released
  13. Funny thing is this is what most people would say about working with the trackmasters today
  14. Well for this generation they, and many like them, are legends. But I've also heard rhymes about RUN DMC if that makes you more happy. @ AJ: J. Coles albums isn't very catchy, I agree, he has more left in him I think. Check Fashawns alum "Boy Meets World" and Blu's "Below The Heavens"
  15. This is simply not true. Just shows that you don't really follow releases of young, new Rappers that have been making waves lately. Fashawn for example released a whole Ode to Illmatic mixtape. J. Cole made a track called "Bun B for President". This is just one out of many examples. There is really no mixtape or album of the new wave of fresh rappers that is without at least a few lines of paying homage. As for this track, it's not bad. His flow is still a little bumpy and some of his lyrics seem forced but he has potential. Certainly more than Jaden's Lil Romeo thing.
  16. yeah I ripped it right away. yeah put it on jeffs wall or something
  17. This is amazing. However the title holy grail it has to share with the nightmare in my street video
