Guys like that need albums along with touring, look at Raekwon, he just made a great album (Cuban Linx II) and it sold really well and he did a sold out world tour because thats what people want from him and thats what people are willing to spend money for, he does not need a single or a ringtone hit, and that's what Kel should go for cause thats the only way.

It depens on what kind of artist you are. Kel is not Yung Joc, Kel is more like Skyzoo and there is a diffrence between what people buy from Skyzoo and what they buy from Young Joc. Artists like Young Joc are single artists, they make songs for the radio and for the clubs, not for albums. People that buy music from MCs like Skyzoo however are most likely to buy albums cause he is album artist, if you know what I mean. Kel might still have the illusion that he will be Will Smith one day, but he should be happy if he'll ever make it to AZ.

Like I said, some people do not need music to stimulate their minds, they listen to music to get their mind off of things, to relax or to have fun, without realy using their brain for once. Most of these people are girls, I can't blame them for that and it is foolish to call them out for stupid or anything like that, because I'm sure there are some people out there who listen to music that is much more inteligent than a Will Smith record and I doubt they would start calling you stupid. To what music someone is listening is really not that big of a deal, it's like Comedy, just because somebody prevers watching a Martin Lawrence stand up show and laugh about fart jokes instead of watching a Lewis Black show does not mean that he's not inteligent enough to understand what Lewis Black is saying. Entertainment is still entertainment, I'f I'd be you, I'd be more concerned about what kind of car people drive instead of what kind music they are bumping in their car, because cars can **** up a lot and music, well, doesn't that much.

Some of them have major deals and their doing good, they get the support from their labels, f.e. wale, but some of them have major deals and are beefing with them, like Saigon " I tried to help the label see the vision But they lowered me to a subdivision, you gotta be ****in kiddin / They'd rather me pretend to be somethin I'm not, I'm the new Public Enemy, I'm different than Yung Joc". Most of them are on independent labels though, but they are still doing pretty well because they have solid fanbases and they tour around the world all the time

it might just be me, but I think Kel needs to step his game a up a little in order to handle the competition, out of all the "new" MCs he's not the one standing out

Some of them don't have "real" albums yet, just mixtapes or download albums, but some of them allready did release a album, Black Milk released two solo albums and a street album with Bishop Lamont (his solo albums are great, he is an amasing producer but the album with BL isn't that great), Skyzoo released one just recently called Salvation (he also released a street album with 9th wonder but The Salavtion is even better), Fashawn released his Album called Boy Meets World (dope), Saigon released a download only Album with Statik Selektah called All In A Days Work (which is good but hard to get) and a lot of Mixtapes (His album keeps getting delayed because he struggles with his major label), Joel released one but that's a while ago (you might remember the single Hip Hop with Jadakiss and Saigon), he will release one soon though, Call Me is his new single, Termanology released a few (dope) and will release a album with Statik Selektah, Reks two (but one only for download, both dope, he's a deep dude), Young De didn't release one yet (He's from the soul assasins camp btw), nether did Jay Electronica as far as I know, but he's busy working on his solo album and will also release a Album with Nas & one with Mos Def & Currensy (sick, I know), Torae released several albums, one with 9th Wonder and one with Marco Polo, Wale released his album and it did well actualy, he has a major deal, J. Cole is the first artist on Jigga's new Label and will drop soon too I can keep you updated abut further developments if you want, I'm realy into that new generation. Which tracks did Ya'll like the most? That Luck One & Dekk Track is nice btw, never heard of them I' gomma check them out
