The best rapper will still emerage as the winner, because the best rapper will beat any opponant regardless of if they are wack or a legend. Its just means some great emcee's wont go as deep as maybe they should do. But the final result will still be the same. This is to find the ONE best rapper, not find the top 10 (or whatever it may be). Yeah, that is true. If one is realy the best, he will win every round. If does not come far in this poll, it still means he could be the second best. He just endet up getting beaten by the best in the firs round.

Th JJFP released an amazing with "He's The Dj..", but thats not why they won a grammy. They won it because they were the public friendly option. The grammy almost allways goes to the most popular artists/album that year, that's why it went to Lil Wayne last year. Because, like JJFP, he was the public's sweetheart. Whoever thinks the Grammys are about quality is far from reality. Sure, they often nominate good albums, and sometimes good albums even win.. But there are allways tons of beter albums that werent even considered to be nomated, because they did not pop up in the public eye. It's not about good music, it's about popular music.

I dont know if ya'll heard about Statik Selektah. He's a producer.. A very good producer, producing beats for everybdy lately. Good, soulfull, new yorker sample-based beats. He released a lot of Mixtapes and last year he released this album. I bought this a few weeks ago, and I'm adicted. Its very fresh, full with hungry mc's, dope beats and scratches. The guest list is very diverse, yet the album does not sound like it's all over the place. I realy like it and I think some of ya'll will like it too! lol pot, kettle, black anyone? Hes complaining that Will has dissed everyone, eminems made a career out of dissing people. Such a good point Julie. He doesn't want Will to diss anyone yet he himself disses almost everyone. LOL. EPIC FAIL. My personal opinion as to why Em behaves this way towards Will is that he's jealous. Jealous that Will is a stand up guy, who paved the way for many others and is regarded highly by the best rappers. Deep down inside Em wants to be that guy, but he can't. And I think that's what's killing him. Well.. Thats crap.. Em is one of the most respected Mc's too.. And Em allways stood up for what the thpught was right. And you cant compare Em's diss towards people with what Will did. Eminem usualy disses Pop Artists, most of the time corny ones. He had some beef with some rappers, but he never downgraded a whole type of hip hop. Thats what he felt Will did.

I'd drop sales and influence.. sales because most good mc's aint selling anyway (and because for example saigon didnt even release his real album yet).. and influence.. its hard to have influence these day's, no mather how good you are. it would be unfair for the new rappers.
