  1. I don't think I even have to defend myself now....Maxfly, Concept and TopDawg already justified it for me..."Piss On You" is hillarious...Chappelle wasn't trying to kick R.Kelly he just made a lil fun of him....
  2. Mobb Deep used to be mad cool back when "the infamous" was out....theie albums even after that were also pretty much decent...i even checked out Blood Money...never checking for Mobb Deep again. Early Mobb Deep is easily good hip hop...even Jeff bumps "Survival Of The Fittest" and "Shook Ones" during his live sets....
  3. Lol! Wow...I never thought I would say this but this is up to par with dave Chappelles "piss on you"...yeah and the song sounds real nice.
  4. Me too...but it's just a mash up of random freestyles he dropped on various shows...
  5. I see what your saying there FuQ....This reminds me of when my friend asked me if I still like "cheap rap". I was offended and couldn't really mention any intelligent artists that that a rock fan like him would have heard about...so I pulled an AJ on him and started explaining to him the difference between rap and Hip-Hop...:lolsign: but on the real the majority of the rap that they show on MTV etc. is just as he said... "cheap".Now that is what needs to change!
  6. Nas...Will.I.Am bought a sick vibe on that track although he did reuse a sample....Skillz was good but his rhyme scemes are a little on the elementary side and his flow is quite simplistic....
  7. In the words of Dead Prez - "Turn off the radio...Turn off the bull****" Don't support stuff you think is crap...if you like on or two tracks on a dude's album...download! Support idependant, underground and talented cats.... :sipread:
  8. EricB & Rakim - Michropone Feind (expanded remix)
  9. Favourite Hip Hop/Rap Albums Of The Year - CL Smooth - American Me -solid album Lupe Fiasco - Food and Liqour - This years classic... The Roots - Game Theory - half this album is great the other half is ehhh.. J5 - Feedback - excellent summer album Nas - Hip Hop Is Dead - Near classic Method Man - 4:21 The Day After - Best street album of the year.. Rhymefest - Blue Collar - breath of fresh air Hi-Tek - Hi-Teknology 2 - half classic half weak LL Cool J - Todd Smith - Too much RnB but I liked it Publis Enemy - Rebirth of A Nation - Not your traditional PE sound but pretty good all the same... DMC - Checks Thugs and Rock N Roll - Musically bold...lyrically simplistic yet good... There were also some great songs in jay-z, Az, Ice Cube's albums. I'll come back with songs later....
  10. http://www.sendspace.com/file/42l2im U know what time it is... :3-laugh3:
  11. It's time you get some girls up in you'r life. OWNED!
  12. I've haven't had a movie make me cry for a while....let's see if this one does anything for me...
  13. That pretty much sums why a rapper with a ghostwriter isn't respected....no disrespect to Will or Em... but come on...
  14. Word...the discussion sure took some unexpected turns.... :sipread:
  15. Really? Don't get me wrong I consider Nas and Black Thought in the same level of skills...maybe Black Thought a little bit higher due to consistency but as an album "Hip Hop Is Dead" is a far more consistant album than Game Theory. As far as "It Was Written" goes it seems...only you and Lupe Fiasco seem to think it was his best album ever...one word..."Illmatic"! And as far as best hip hop album release goes, there is no messing with "Food & Liqour".
  16. John Legend - Save Room Really feeling this album...not as much as the last one tho'.
  17. Your right about one thing musically u can't mess with the roots. I picked the album up this summer...I couldn't really relate to the vibe of the album about that time because it was too dark and deppressing for that time of the year....*nice timing Jigga*....but a couple of months later I put it on and I was pretty happy with it. My complain is that half of the album is excellent, classic material and the other half isn't as captivating. Dont feel right....Clock with no hands...the title track...Can't Stop This and Here I come are my faves
  18. NBA Volume 3 on playstation is a great entertainer...I guess it's not for the NBA purists...but boy is it crazy!
