Turntable
Jim Jones and Joe are independent.. They do good for that. Stop fronting, and go hug Kanye or something. By the way, Em's Re-Up was suposed to be a Mixtape, but now it's a Official Label Sampler. I see Janets's slowly going gold. bigted
The G-Unit camp will continue to have a pulse in the rap industry if they keep on riding onto Eminem's balls, lol, he's giving them life support but really selling 300,000 in the first week is kinda low for him really even though it's a mixtape especially since that single with him and 50 Cent has been #1 on TRL, btw f sales man that Fat Joe album's dope, with all that money Jay-Z put out to promote his album over the past couple months you figure he'd gone triple platinum by now, lol, if Will had that promo for "Lost and Found" he would've
Turntable
Lloyd Bank's Album was nice. I had a nice vibe to it. He's an average Rapper, but the album was really nice. I wont hate on it just caus it's the Unit.
bigted
Yeah that Lloyd Banks can spit, if he just finds different things to rap about and gets away from the G-Unit influence he could become one of the top mcs of the game, really he's the one in the camp that stands out
Frenetic
Turntable// Joe is independent? Didn't know that. The album is aight, but this is a sales thread... We can discuss the album quality in an other thread. Ted// Yeah Ur right about Banks, he's got skill, but is too damn narrow. ........................... But still, it's a big difference between the re-up and a clear cut album. And it's good numbers for that.
bigted
I think Fat Joe's album is marketed by Fat Joe himself through his Terror Squad imprint

rcpbball30
Yeah, I agree with all that about Lloyd Banks, he's got skills, he needs to expand his topics. I am real surprised by the Ciara sales, I have barely heard anything about her album, that is real impressive. The Game is not selling nearly as much as I thought he would. Turntable
Lloyd Banks newest Record's show's more versatiliy than the usual G-Unit stuff tho.
bigted
I think Ciara sold less than Janet did in her first week but yet everyone yells out that Janet's was a flop? She sold 400,000 the first week I think, Ciara sold 309,000, lol People are just haters for real....
Members derrickbrock14
i think the unit is still strong sales are just down in general now if people would just stop hating on the unit like ted said before on another thread if you cant say anything nice don;t say nothing at all lol

bigted
Basically Virgin Records gave up promoting the record after the 1st week 'cause they thought it was a failure, really 1st week sales really determine if the album'll sell or not, labels give up on albums fast it seems that's why albums ain't really selling these days, btw I found out Brian Mcknight only sold 63K in his 1st week, people just don't seem to care that much for real soul music these days, he should do way better than that, I didn't listen to the album yet but I got it on my Christmas list
