The Roots - Game Theory - half this album is great the other half is ehhh.. J5 - Feedback - excellent summer album Nas - Hip Hop Is Dead - Near classic Method Man - 4:21 The Day After - Best street album of the year.. Rhymefest - Blue Collar - breath of fresh air Hi-Tek - Hi-Teknology 2 - half classic half weak LL Cool J - Todd Smith - Too much RnB but I liked it Publis Enemy - Rebirth of A Nation - Not your traditional PE sound but pretty good all the same... DMC - Checks Thugs and Rock N Roll - Musically bold...lyrically simplistic yet good... There were also some great songs in jay-z, Az, Ice Cube's albums. I'll come back with songs later.... Silver Tiger
The best album I got this year was Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor. I also really enjoyed Idlewild. Hip Hop is Dead is a solid album. Same with Year of the Dog. Most of the other CD's I bought this year didn't come out this year. God Blessa!
