DevilsJim89
Bow Wow's next single called "Outta My System" is scheduled to be released sometime soon. I havent peeped his new album but I've heard "Shortie Like Mine" on top of radio spins and I did enjoy his 2005 release. Did I enjoy the comments bout FP? No not at all but Bow Wow's got some decent tracks. Anyway ...the track "Outta My System" is about getting his ex g/f off his mind. With recent situations I've dealt with, this song hits home for me. He is pretty much rapping my story. peep it now at http://www.myspace.com/bowwow
Big Willie
That is a pretty hot song, but then you got the song "You Dont Know About That" after. Which is back to the commercialised side of hip hop Bow Wow stands for. "Outta My System" is dope though, he just needs to make that kind of calibor much all the time and lose the ego. JumpinJack AJ
I listened 2 Bow Wow's album in stores when it 1st dropped. I remember really liking 2 of the song...so this is probably one of those 2. I don't hate on Bow Wow like most people here. Growing up on young Hip-Hop groups like Another Bad Creation, Kris Kross, Da Youngstas, and Illegal has made it so i'm more open 2 them as i'm older. I thought alot of his early stuff waz just fun kiddie Hip-Hop. Those 2 big singles off his 3rd album are dope. Of his last album (which i got at a really cheap price) only had 2 or 3 good trax on...the rest were average 2 below average. That's kinds where his album waz when i listened 2 it. It's a shame, cuz Bow Wow's flow is 100 times better than most of the people who get radio air play. If only he didn't alter his sound 2 be more of a dirty south feel...and of course dropping some lyrics that we can't take seriously. If that boy would fix his ego, he'd probably become a very promising emcee that could change the game when it comes 2 the commercial and mainstream side of things. DevilsJim89
I'm probably going to peep the rest of the album. I did like "Shortie Like Mine" but after it got so much airplay - it got played out. Turntable yeah haha i do wonder who wrote the track too cause I really didnt even expect this from him. "You Dont Know About That" isnt great either. I wish he'd do a little bit more serious songs but I'm really loving "Outta My System". T-Pain I forgot to mention (the dude who sings I'm N Luv Wit a Stripper) definitly brings his game to the table on the track.

Bob
bow wow has always been one of those artists i don't take the time to listen to..and maybe its being ignorant, but i just have never liked anything i've heard of his, disregarding the comments about will
J-o-e
What people need to understand is when it comes to being the person to the music and the person making the music, it's like two different people completely, when you make a song about someone, you put your mindstate in that person, so when he made "My Baby" with jagged edge, he probably tried to feel how he would feel if he knew a girl like that, but since he doesn't write his own lyrics he jus spits on a page, I could never do that...even for all the amount of the money in the world, I could NEVER rap somebody's elses lyrics because it's not coming from the heart..Feel me? JumpinJack AJ
I feel u. I don't understand how someone could just be given a verse or a song. Especially coming from someone like J-Kwon who is just wack. Back in the day when i used 2 write alot, there were a few songs i did with friends around and they'd give me a line once in awhile and that waz cool just cuz they were on the same vibe i waz and we were just chillin' and creating something 2gether. On top of that, it waz just the comedy-based songs which are just for fun anyways. But a whole song...no way.
KevTastic
Bow Wow has never made it huge over hear, can't recall him ever having a top 10 hit, or hearing him up in the clubs. I guess he gets abit of video play though. I didn't mind his breakthrough track with the nod to Snoop Doggs hit. The vid made me laugh when Fred Durst chucks him outta his car.
