I'm not surprised Summertime '98 has the most votes now. If I HAD 2 choose, that would be the remix. The beat that drops is just so thick, there's so much bass. U gotta love it!

no doubt! Has an up to date feel but Summertime is such a timeless track. It doesn't sound old at all...

The only remix of this song that i've heard is the club mix, which was on one of those old club mtv collections. It's tight.

the summertime 98 remix used the same sample in gangstarrs you know my steez, which was a big hit at the time.. i wasa feelin it! cause it gave the remix a real gritty edge

Yeah, i wonder if SoulShock + Karlin actually used that sample becuz of Gang Starr's hit with "U Know My Steez" or if it waz just coincidence. "U Know My Steez" came out in late-fall/early winter...JJ+FP "Greatest Hits" came out in May.

Yep i loved the 98 mix, but havent heard it in about 3 or 4 years. I don't have the mp3 anymore :(. the JazzyJeff remix is the best of the old school thouh, it turns the original into a danceable club/party track
