Da Brakes
For those who say or think Eminem is 'still hot' I ask you to listen to this track. This is very early Eminem. Before 'Marshall Mathers LP', before 'Slim Shady Lp' ... even before 'Infinite'. If you listen simply to his rhyme pattern it's absolutely insane! This is why back then I thought Em was one of the greatest lyricist out and nobody was doing it like he was. Fast forward a few years and he's putting out the garbage he is today! You be the judge! If you can tell me he's still hot and putting out rhymes of this calibre still then I'll slap myself silly. The audio quality isn't that great but here are the lyrics as well. The song is called 'Biterphobia' and next to 'Rengedes' I think this is the best song Em has done. Eminem - Biterphobia <--- Click to download [DJ scratching] - "Do it!" [Eminem] Sneakin in through the back door, fruity MC's get ambushed Rammed and squooshed, slammed and pushed, crammed and mushed Then I'm movin on down from the right to left So bite the meth or prepare to fight to death To get jacked, attacked and cracked in two Smackin through 'til youre black and blue for actin true I'm dreaded like a man whose hair is all strands Proof that I be sniffin on aerosol cans I'm stompin, I'm kickin, I'm chokin, I'm stampin em clompin em, stickin, and pokin and clampin em To electric chairs and tightenin bolts Hit em with frightening jolts of lightning bolts I'm zappin, rappers, singers, and dancers Faster than you could snap your figures for ransom Cancer is in the flesh, alive and breathin Survivin by connivin and theivin [DJ scratching] - "Do it!", "Eat em up" [Eminem] I had a dream I was gettin jacked by biters It felt like I was bein attacked by spiders Developin a fear of biterphobia I'm holdin a gas can and lighter over ya If I detect ya, I'ma pulverize Dissect your brain, diggin in your skull for lies And I'ma torture, with material iller than a stark ravin mad serial killer I'm more dangerous than a loaded chamber is A major risk to a plagiarist So beware of the aura, A terror for the horrible Will scare ya tomorrow, is the airbourne assault of the rappers Hit the source to better my skills, I head for the border And run the Galloping Hills, the choice is yours Cause now buddy's noises force me to scream til my voice is hoarse Cause I'm sick of these jabber jaws and crap that grab at yours and savage yours to bite like labradors In the range of my double-barrel And your life is in danger, trouble, and peril [DJ scratching] [Eminem] I trample and stamp liars, like they were campfires Cuz vampires right on my balls and clamp pliers And swing on my big thingamajig So I'm bringin my nig Proof for backup when I sing at my gig Cause biters are fallin head over heels In love with every rhyme that I've said over reels That's how I became paranoid Chewin my fingernails, pullin my hair annoyed Cause every time you bit it was deliberate So I'm forced to hit a little quicker with an ultimatum I assault and slayed em with rhymes and it's ultimatum just to cultivate em Energetic and imaginative, pronouns and verbs, predicates and adjectives Will reach out and grab ya, 9 times outta 10 That's why I'm spilling one of a kind rhymes out a pen [DJ scratching] - "Everybody walk out the back door" [DJ scratching to fade]
ash trey
Yeah that's my joint! Yeah, it serves as a worthy reminder of how much he fell of...but also tells people who claim that he never had it to begin with that he had mad potential to be one of the dopest! Silver Tiger
If he was still like that now I couldn't really diss his ability. His flow and and lyrics were on point in that song and when I compare this to his stuff today it's a black/white difference. God Blessa! Da Brakes
It really is amazing how much he's declined!
Big Willie
Definitely, I've said all along he has fell off over the years, this proves it. Em had huge potential, but he seemed to sacrifice that for fame.
Mike
i was reading these lyrics... and they really are amazing. the rhymes are rediculas.. I'm more dangerous than a loaded chamber is A major risk to a plagiarist That's how I became paranoid Chewin my fingernails, pullin my hair annoyed To get jacked, attacked and cracked in two Smackin through 'til youre black and blue for actin true if he put out these kinds of songs on every album he would be a legend. but instead he kicks out garbage which is sad that it went to waste EDIT: i just downloaded infinite and wow.. i am blown away, im on trackr right now and its so good. nice beats, none of those eminem beats you can tell he made just be the sound. and his lyrics are genius.. one i can remember i like alot it "come clean like [he was] jackin off in a shower" thats soo clever hahha i mean i feel like he was an MC and the money got him. its sad. i mean this album didnt have like any violence just real rhymes. this only supports what i said before in that he could have been a legend. i went through my eminem on my computer after i listened to this and deleted song by song. listen to evil deeds by him and then "its ok" off of infinite.. its jaw dropping the difference Edited May 22, 2007 by Concept

Yeah Infinite was a great album. He even had songs inspiring people to reach for the stars and talks about his Christianity.

JumpinJack AJ
I'll have 2 check this. After 2000, i waz pretty done with Eminem. His music and his status of an artist have totally changed. The quality totally disappeared. When i hear this, i'll probably remind me of when i waz excited 2 hear his music and proudly called myself a fan. Mike
i mean he changed so much it really awes me.. like his "party" song on infinite has this chorus- "we came to do this tonight, we dont want a fight we dont want a feeling to be up tight we came here to do this tonight, hope everyones alright till the morning light." i mean basically thats some jjfp lets have a good time music.. a party song of his now.... i dont think we need any examples of the decline. but with what brakes said, on his song never 2 far he says (paraphrased) "no matter who you are or where you are you can do what you want and can be a star". and besides the (dare i say) positive-ish lyrics his rhyme patterns are amazing and i looked on his other albums (slim shady LP and marshall mathers LP) and nothing comes close... and those are considered his best... and that inspired me to write this verse for my new album which is crazy.
