Silver Tiger
Yeah, he does a little. Part of it was on purpose. It's not that obvious though. He REALLY sounds like Ali in Girls Ain't Nothin But Trouble. God Blessa!
Da Brakes
I've noticed that ever since Will did Ali! He speaks different to how he did before! Its like he can't quite shake it off!
DevilsJim89
I'm definitly agreeing with you guys. Ever since he started really working out intensely for Ali (6 days/wk) his voice got a lot deeper but you take a look at BWS and Willenium then B2R and L+F ...complete difference. VIsqo
I agree, but ´people do grow up sometime in their lives, lol.
JumpinJack AJ
With Born To Reign, it waz a pretty adult kinda album. I think some of that's stayed. I don't really any ALIisms stuck with him tho.' That line he says in his ALI voice in "How Da Beat Goes" is the only line i think he truely sounds like him...which is of course on purpose. While it's my least favorite solo album, i think FP's flow is on point the whole way thru.'
Jazzy Julie
You can sometimes here him slip back into Ali in mib2, its only just noticeable. His voice did get deeper after it tho, but i dont know if that has anything to do with him getting bigger.
DefCEM
i guess he's just an bad actor, who can't really imitate something, he has to work hard to hide his "willism" and scratch the whole ali thing into his brain. well it works, but thats the nice side effect of the whole thing. but anyway, i liked his voice much better on the first 2 solo albums. it just got too deep. doesnt sound so fresh anymore. JumpinJack AJ
I don't know, i think this ALI-like voice is probably just FP himself. On Lost + Found, his voice is all over the place...high, low, it just depends on the vibe of the song.
nykk20
"Im the greatest thang..." fits perfectly with the song
