Simply incredible music, and of course TROTM well.. it was way more pop.. nothing compared to casually dressed & deep in conversation or hours.. but I really liked that overall topic and the concept itself.. that's why it's only 5.. earlier stuff would've been #2 or something

bart5
sooo my fav albums for the year are all old albums i discovered heavy d- nuttin but love (1994) guru - jazzamatazz vol II (1995) wendy & lisa - girlbros (1999) masta ace - long hot summer (2004) main source - breaking atoms (1991) Word, I just got Breaking Atoms today as a present. It is CLASSIC. I love it so far, haven't had a chance to listen to it all the way through yet, but everything is dope on it. I really got into hip hop a lot this year, and expanded my album collection exponentially haha. I mainly spent times discovering older albums than I did buying new ones. So if my list included older albums, my top five would be: The Main Ingredient - Pete Rock and Cl Reflection Eternal Train of Thought - Talib Kweli and Hi Tek Stakes Is High - De La Soul Breaking Atoms - Main Source Soul Survivor II - Pete Rock
