Luigie
I think it's for todays music standards a classic, there is maybe 1 song you can skip through on the album...A classic album don't need necessarily mainstream exposure. If that's the case Common's Resurrection/Be or Little Brother's Minstrel Show/The Listening wouldn't be a classic. :yeahthat:
bigted
"Lost and Found"'s a great album but it ain't on the same classic level as "He's The DJ"/"Code Red"/"Willenium"

Jin
In the eyes of the media He's the DJ I'm the Rapper is the ONLY Will Smith classic album...Rock the House and Homebase had classic singles (Girls ain't nothing but trouble/Summertime/Fresh Prince of Bel-Air)...Code Red got a lot of positive feedback from the hip hop community just like the Lost and Found therefore I would call it a classic...Big Willie Style and Willenium aren't even close to a classic album status, maybe classic singles: Men in Black, Gettin Jiggy wit it, Just the two of us, So fresh! TooFresh
I'd say NO for me, an album should be timeless to be classic... what's make the difference between two albums?? THE BEATS..I mean, lost found is great for his period, when u listen to it u see it's a 2005album..but when u listen to code red, willennium, well these sound still fresh!! production is on another level.. that's the difference
