Jazzy Julie
The album does grow on you, but i think its a bit weaker than her other stuff. i love bye bye, I'm that chick, o.o.c, thanx for nothin and heat (on a uk version :P). From the performances Mariah has done recently ive seen a lot of miming, i really hate that, whats the point in standing there and moving your mouth. JumpinJack AJ
Out of all the award shows and performance shows i've seen over the years, i've NEVER seen Mariah Carey lipsync. Where'd u see this? I watched her Adventures of Mimi concert DVD the other day and the show was flawless.
Jazzy Julie
Ok i take it slightly back, i watched it again and its partially lip synced and some playback. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlgocZZEddY...feature=related
Sandy
Yes, she does playback in some parts. Mariah Carey - Bye Bye (Sneak Preview): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RStxEaboQw...7&start=
Turntable
She just sings along with it, thats not really playback. It just gives her more room to do her high pitched voice emotional outbreak thingy.
JumpinJack AJ
Yeah, the breathy vocal in the intro aren't stand out vocals. There's no way 2 belt them out and have it make sense. Her voice sounds great 2 me. This also isn't the Mariah show-off type song.
