The event, now in its second year, will be screened from London's Royal Festival Hall on ITV1 in September and gives the public the chance to vote for their favourite movies and actors from the past 12 months. Musical Mamma Mia! leads the pack with four nominations - best musical, best male performance for Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth, and best female performance for Meryl Streep - while summer movies Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull, The Dark Knight and Sex And The City also received multiple nods. The best male performance category includes nominations for Christian Bale (The Dark Knight), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man) and Will Smith (Hancock), while Angelina Jolie (Wanted), Nicole Kidman (The Golden Compass) and Ellen Page (Juno) are among the actresses contesting the best female performance prize.
