mfuqua23
Well, if Will would hurry his ass up, there wouldn't be this kind of tension. Damn U str8 2 heck Will Smith. JumpinJack AJ
There's never any plans for JJ+FP stuff...other than possible tours and colaboz on their solo albums. There would have 2 be some kinda buzz about them and then a bunch of paperwork done since Jive and JJ+FP aren't affiliated.
mfuqua23
I'll tell u whose affiliated wit JJFP. Me, I'm a fan. Come on. "We want Switch... Smith!!!!" (numerous)
Admin Hero1 Posted September 2, 2004 Admin Report Share Posted September 2, 2004 hey m.. will is not signed to a label.. he has to release switch by himself..which is a difficult task.. that means you gotta get radio stations to play you're record..music video channels to play your video.. and thats all locked down..so its hard to do it as an independant.. so it takes a lot of co-ordination and work to make sure switch is a hit..so i dont mind waiting a few weeks if it means switch gets to the top of the charts... I would hate to see another potential party hit get easily wasted and not used at all... Like How Da Beat Goes On, Block Party, Give Me Tonite, Act Like You Know, Yes Yes Y'all, Somethin Like Dis, Just Kickin It, Scream..etc
mfuqua23
Hey. As long as it gets out, I'll make sure Will's stuff gets promoted.
TooFresh
I think lack of promotion isn't a good thing... B2R was good but there was nothing good around it. only one single, no promotion.. So men, we must wait to have a great hit..
JamesUK
A second single was only dropped at the last minute - i wanted that as well it had the video on it and the video mix of the song
