Turntable
I guess ya'll know how it works. Somebody posts a verse, and the rest has to guess from which mc it is. If you guess right, it's you'r turn (dont google). If it's not figured out in about 1, 2 day's, another person gets a turn. I'll start: Visualizin the realism of life and actuality **** who's the baddest a person's status depends on salary And my mentality is, money orientated I'm destined to live the dream for all my peeps who never made it cause yeah, we were beginners in the hood as five percenters But somethin must of got in us cause all of us turned to sinners Now some, restin in peace and some are sittin in San Quentin Others such as myself are tryin to carry on tradition Keepin the schwepervesence street ghetto essence inside us Cause it provides us with the proper insight to guide us Even though, we know somehow we all gotta go but as long as we leavin thievin we'll be leavin with some kind of dough so, and to that day we expire and turn to vapors me and my capers-ll be somewhere stackin plenty papers Keepin it real, packin steel, gettin high Cause life's a bitch and then you die From a classik cut you all know. Mike
Life's a Bitch - Nas we should add some general hints like -verse of the song -the "number" album from that artist -general year reference. (((this is the fourth verse from the song. from the second cd from the rappers albums. mid nineties))) Got stopped at the mall the other day Heard a call from the other way that I just came from, some nigga was sayin somethin talkin bout "Hey man, you remember me from school?" smoke some, naw not really but he kept smilin like a clown facial expression lookin silly And he kept askin me, what kind of car you drive, I know you paid I know y'all got buku of hoes from all them songs that y'all done made And I replied that I had been goin through tha same thing that he had True I got more fans than the average man but not enough loot to last me to the end of the week, I live by the beat like you live check to check If you don't move yo' feet then I don't eat, so we like neck to neck Yes we done come a long way like them Slim ass cigarettes from Virginia, this ain't gon stop so we just gonna continue Edited December 14, 2008 by Mike

ash trey
Nice one Turn!!! Ok this might be kinda hard... um...2000ish...rap duos first album...underground classic...first verse "Give me the fortune, keep the fame," said my man Louis I agreed, know what he mean because we live the truest lie I asked him why we follow the law of the bluest eye He looked at me, he thought about it Was like, "I'm clueless, why?" The question was rhetorical, the answer is horrible Our morals are out of place and got our lives full of sorrow And so tomorrow comin later than usual Waitin' on someone to pity us While we findin beauty in the hideous They say money's the root of all evil but I can't tell YouknowhatImean, pesos, francs, yens, cowrie shells, dollar bills Or is it the mindstate that's ill? Creating crime rates to fill the new prisons they build Over money and religion there's more blood to spill The wounds of slaves in cotton fields that never heal What's the deal? A lot of cats who buy records are straight broke But my language universal they be recitin my quotes While R&B singers hit bad notes, we rock the boat of thought, that my man Louis' statements just provoked Caught up, in conversations of our personal worth Brought up, through endangered species status on the planet Earth Survival tactics means, bustin gats to prove you hard Your firearms are too short to box with God Without faith, all of that is illusionary Raise my son, no vindication of manhood necessary

Ready to give up so I seek the Old Earth Who explained working hard may help you maintain to learn to overcome the heartaches and pain We got stickup kids, corrupt cops, and crack rocks and stray shots, all on the block that stays hot Leave it up to me while I be living proof To kick the truth to the young black youth But shorty's running wild smokin sess drinkin beer And ain't trying to hear what I'm kickin in his ear Neglected, but now, but yo, it gots to be accepted That what?
