Jazzy Julie
i think columbia should have listened to the fans more than they did, coz we all like pretty much the same songs from B2R. Block party is the best example and it seems 2 b the favourate from the album, if columbia would have listened 2 us and released it, it definatly would have been a hit. Also on Willenium, ppl seemed 2 want the rain to be released, that would have given Will so much more credibility as a rapper than the songs columbia got released. and i think from the songs that where released just showed Will as a fun rapper and didnt show his deep side. Unfortunatly, Columbia with all the songs they chose as singles, the singles made Will look more as a "pop" rapper than a regular rapper. Take songs like "Freakin' It" and "Miami". Yeah, they are good songs and seem like hits but they don't look good for Will's image. I don't have a problem with the songs that were released off Big Willie Style, but for Willenium, "Will 2k" was a must to release, but "So Fresh" should have been the next single. Then the last could be "Freakin' It". So Fresh definatly should have been promoted and released as a single. Infact it was, but only on vinyl to clubs and stuff. No promotion, no nothing for it. I wouldn't mind having "The Rain" being released as a single either. All of Will's 3 albums could have done way better than they did if Columbia just added more promotion towards the albums and it's singles. bigted
The thing that makes Will so great is that he makes complete albums from beginning until end, which is a rare skill that many rappers sleep on! Born To Reign is still a very good album, even though it wasn't Will's best. He's capable of staying consistant with his lyrical for many more years to come 'cause this album doesn't show a decline in his talent, even though sales lacked. As long as he keeps on rappin', he'll get the street cred he deserves. All y'all haters fall off! Holla!
TooFresh
yes, I'm totally wit you devilsjim!! So fresh should have been the second single of willennim. in my opinion this track gives us a classic vision of will as rapper, it's one of the willennium's best song and shows that will is still involved in the game

Angel Amor
I love B2R and I don't care what other ppl say. I think the album would have done better if they promoted it a lot more. :thumb:  Edited April 5, 2005 by Angel Amor

E - Style-Greesy - E
B2R is a great album for me but Tra Knox is annoying after hearing them a few times because they are on every damned song!!! :mad8:
AusZero
I always really liked B2R, it may not have been quite as good as his other albums but it was definitely worth listening to and some some great tracks on it. My favourite tracks are Nod Ya Head/remix Block Party Nothin On My Mind Act Like You Know Born To Reign (great song but too short)
