VIsqo
I think Dre will be finally coming this year, he has been pretty busy producing, I think this might be a great year for Aftermath
bigted
I doubt Rakim's album will come out this year either, that's wishful thinking too like us wanting Will to put out another album Edited January 13, 2009 by bigted
Silver Tiger
I'm most excited for LupEND and Andre 3000's solo joint. I'm also skeptical whether or not Rakim's album will ever come out (or at least this year).
Da Brakes
Not a bad list but I agree we won't see Dre this yeah
JumpinJack AJ
Hmmm...i wanna hear a few of them...Mos Def, Rakim, OutKast, Dr. Dre, and a few others....but i'm not genuinely excited about any of them.
Da Brakes
Out of morbid curiosity I'll still check for Em in case he remembers how to start rapping again....Mos Def will be sick....Rakim will bring some much needed sense to the game....Kanye better not have a single auto-tune song on the album...Busta is a legend...Lil Wayne is a cancer to Hip Hop and is slowly killing it....Couldn't care less about 50...Joe Budden will have some real good word play, he's got a lot to say...Dre won't live up to the hype he has built for the past 5 years
VIsqo
Nothing about Clipse new album?
JumpinJack AJ
Yeah, i kinda down played what i'm thinkin'...tho' i'm gererally not that hyped as i should be. "Morbid curiosity is the perfect word for Eminem. I will give him a listen incase he learned how 2 be witty and creative again...and have a good flow. Dr. Dre i don't have 2 much faith in. He thinks it's okay 2 be a middle aged gangsta after we all know he isn't. His has a dope voice and flow...and beats 2, but it's time 2 grow up. I love OutKast, but other than their 1st album, none of their albums have really kept my attention. There last 2 definitely weren't what i wanted. I'm hoping for the kinda magic they had when they 1st broke. Busta Rhymes i'm definitely intersted in. I'll listen 2 Kanye's album as long as it's NOTHING IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM like his current crap. I never listened 2 his previous albums long after i got them tho.' I'm not a real fan of Joe Budden but i'd wanna hear his album.
Da Brakes
Nothing about Clipse new album? Not into them...never have been. If i remember rightly isn't the vast majority of their rhymes about pushing drugs?
Turntable
lol well yes, but in a very lyrical way. know what i mean?
VIsqo
thats the only problem I have with them, but I dont listen to them because of the drugs, Im more into the beats, the punchlines, the flow, the swagger, all that
Guest lambertj3
Since i know we all disagree on whats good and what isn't please name the 1 album to you and please people this is just an opinion that is your most anticipated for 09 and why. I usually would say 50 but i kinda have lost about 80% interest in him nothing from him excites me anymore i have been really waiting on Dre though because i am praying for a classic
