JumpinJack AJ
Has anyone else read the interview he did with Vibe (the issue that has him on the cover)? It's actually very interesting and i've gained some of my respect back for him. He opens up totally about the last few years. He goes 2 a real vunerable place about his addiction to drugs and how it effected his work ethic and expectations for his music as well as how he treated people. He actually shows respect towards his mother for the 1st time ever since he himself had an addiction. He talks about how he wallowed in the depression of losing Proof and how he was making all about himself. He talks about how his life was just out of control after being in rehab and the hospital, gaining weight, losing weight, and nearly dying. He talks about finding God (he rocks a cross on the cover of the magazine) and also talks about how Hip-Hop excites him once again and how his the music he was making was boring, lazy, and depressing. He talks about not really keeping an ear open 2 Hip-Hop but that he loves LL Cool J's and T.I.'s recent albums. He talks about his style and mixing things up. He says that he's only produced one song in the past few years and that it was "Beautiful" and that he only included it because he felt it was the best song he did while being addicted 2 drugs and that his other material just took him 2 a dark and depressing place. He says he has 2 albums ready 2 release. I can't say i'm hyped 2 hear him like i waz back in 1999 but i do have a genuine interest in this new album. He kinda sounded like a smarter, wiser, and more mature verison of himself from when he 1st broke out.
Turntable
Well the thing with the album is... He can rap, everybody knows that. He is a flow monster, and he knows how to write. But most of the songs are just annoying, often times because his flow and his voice are just to weird for me.
bigted
When it comes to radio rappers I'd rather listen to Eminem than most to be honest but he hasn't really been at a high level since 2000, I did listen to those bonus tracks over the weekend and they're both dope, better than most of the songs that're on the album btw, I especially think that "My Darling" is real creative
Turntable
He released Infinite from 96 for free, on thisis50.com. Now thats some straight up dope Hip Hop right there.
Guest
Infinite is a good album, I wonder why it didn't succeed. It's not as great as his other albums but it's good. Song "It's OK" is really great.

JumpinJack AJ
I listened 2 the whole album. I liked it enough to buy it. This is the 1st Eminem album i've bought new since The Marshall Mathers LP. All of the beats can only be rated at 6's or 7's. Maybe an 8 if u are generious. What i do like is that the beats are going back 2 a sound closer 2 his earlier stuff and that that they are set up 2 let him just rap over them so that the listener actually listens 2 him and not an over produced beat which is what alot of people settle for. His flow is actually pretty good. It reminds me of when emcees actually cared about how they flowed over the track. His voice and delivery are kinda annoying over more than half of the album. The fact that he's trying different things and doing it on songs that don't matter lyrically as much as others is what makes me be able 2 listen 2 them without skipping at this point. Lyrically there's pieces of the old Eminem and crappier, later-model Eminem. Something about this album has me listening 2 it kinda often. I think i'm an Eminem fan again. I've been listening 2 Relapse more than Busta Rhymes' new album and Method Man + Redman's new albums. The bonus track that i've heard and liked was "Careful What U Wish For." I wanna get my hands on that.
ash trey
fair enough...
