Life's A Bitch

Verse 1

Lil Bob only 16 years old
A bad day, he’s feeling blue and cold
Disappointed in the world
Just broke up with his girl
So he decides to borrow his dads shotgun
Went to school and started squeezing it for fun
He’s an angry kid, he has no way out
He’s playing God, that’s what makes him so proud
Thinking about what his dad always said
Late at night when he was crying in bed
I can’t believe your such a loser, you’re not my sun
He pulls the trigger, an other bullet leaves the gun
His white shirt slowly turns red
The last bullet entered his head
He’s laying on the ground, flat on his back
Doctors try to save him, but it’s to late, he’s dead
Who would have thought lil Bob would flip
Over some bad greats and a wackass chick
What if he pulled it together, we’ll never know
Life’s a bitch, but we knew that though

Chorus

Life’s a bitch, it is what you make it
Life’s a bitch, if it ain’t yours then don’t try to take it

Verse 2

Lil Jessica out in the club
Just gave her boyfriend his last hug
It’s 1 o clock and she’s going home
All of a sudden 3 punks won’t leave her alone
She knew one of them was a rapist
But she wished he was only after her paper
Before she knew it, it was to late
These dudes where laughing while she got raped
One of the dudes started to penetrate
Her life flashed before her eyes, from now till 88
It was over, they slit her throat
Felt the blood flowing and then started to choke
Who ever thought she would die so young
Killed by a couple dudes who were high from a blunt
Cops never found those punks
Case got closed after 12 months
Why didn’t they just leave her alone
Yo, it’s motives unknown

Chorus

Life’s a bitch, it is what you make it
Life’s a bitch, if it ain’t yours then don’t try to take it

Verse 3

Lil Tim, bored in class
Thinking about yesterday and that pound of grass
Got it from an ex-con
Today he’s buying xtc and a gun
Timmy and friends out in the streets
Started fronting on a couple geeks
Started fighting, so T pulled the nine
Dudes head and the nine on the same line
He thinks quick and drops it
Gun on the ground, he’s a proud kid
Drops the drugs and his image to
Looks in the mirror, I don’t know you
Vatos Locos, that stuff was done
Never liked hustling, never had some fun
A couple days later, drama in the hood
A couple dudes did a drive by shoot
Timmy got hit, 5 times in the face
Just now, when he was looking at better days
They shot him when he started 2 grow
Like I said, life’s a bitch yo

Chorus

Life’s a bitch, it is what you make it
Life’s a bitch, if it ain’t yours then don’t try to take it

It's not as great as the OG by Nas "Life's a Bitch" but it's dope though, great storytelling there, all 3 stories could really happen which is sad but true, it makes u think. :werd:

[font="Arial"][color=blue]HEy fan4eva...I loved all three pictures you painted in your piece!!! All of them touched my heart...makin me think, its really sad that stuff like this really does happen...

You put it all together real thorough and its deep. The chorus is cool too and for some reason I would like to see 2 more lines added as positive reenforcement along the lines of people thinking before they act...

but its real good just as it is...i gotta read alotta other rymes on the board later tonite too...

peace,

That's what's so great about hip-hop, reality gets expressed so well through lyrical expression, and I was listening to Grnadmaster Flash and the Furious Five "The Message" and it still relates well to what's going on today even though it came out over 20 years ago, we need more songs like this to bring hip-hop back to where it needs to be! :werd:
