In what is very sad news today, the great-granddaughter of Nelson Mandela, Zenani Mandela was killed in a car crash after returning home from the World Cup concert kickoff event which featured artists such as the Black Eyed Peas and Shakira. Zenani had just turned thirteen on Wednesday.

According to ABCNews, Nelson Mandela will miss the opening World Cup game today as he is in mouring over the untimely death of his beloved great-granddaughter. Also according to the report, Zenani "was the only person to die or to be injured in the one-car accident in the township of Soweto."
