Hypestyle
going back to the 70s and 80s, there were various cartoon series based on successful live-action TV series.. addams family, partridge family (in space), Emergency, Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Brady Bunch, Mork & Mindy.. I wonder why this was never attempted for the Fresh Prince show.. it could have been interesting.. they could have done a lot more wacky situations in cartoon form than they could get away with in live action.. JumpinJack AJ
Let's be honest. Those cartoon versions never lasted long and ultimately are forgotten...and for a reason. Many of those shows also had characters that were very fictional in their make-up (aka nothing like real people). On top of that, the cartoon industry is so different these days. Today's cartoon industry wouldn't be able to even attempt to do FPoBA justice. I say leave the legacy alone unless they want to do a reunion special where the cast gets together and shows highlights, bloopers, and memories. No movies, no cartoons, no new episodes.
