analogue
For a few months i've been taking a break from Hip Hop and listening to more pop/rock. Because of this i've falling behind on what's happening in hip hop at the moment and i wanna get back into it. So has anyone here got any hip hop artist or hip hop albums to recommomend? It can be new or old school, i don't mind Thanks very much!

JumpinJack AJ
I haven't gotten anything new in awhile. There's simply nothing good out and I don't spend the few spare moments of my day looking for underground talent. I've been listening to a lot 90's R-N-B recently. As far as Hip-Hop, I've just be revisiting music by MC Lyte, Skee-Lo, MC Brains and of course, JJ+FP.
Big Ben
Unlike AJ, since my plans have fallen through, I do actively spend my extra time looking for artist. :P Not underground but I did find Pharaoh Monche's new album to be enjoyable. Lately I've really been feeling Macklemore, this guy's got some really deep stuff along with some entertaining funny songs. A couple of my favorites from him:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6jcr6k8J6A The above song really helped me through some decision making. I'm not a Mariners fan but I don't think you have to be really relate to this song.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvNQWQSwmow And this one really flips the 'sneaker' song's on their head.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAg3uMlNyHA I could go on, but if you like any of these definitely check out the rest of his songs. I'll look around my computer for the other artist I've been feeling.

Big Ben
I'm proper getting back into Jurassic 5 lately. Also listening to Lupe Fiasco, B.O.B and The Beastie Boys latest efforts. Same here with Jurassic 5, I really wish they would get back together. It suck's that right when you discover the group, they break up. bigted
As far as commercial hip hop is concerned I check for mcs like Game, Wale, and B.O.B., Game dropped another hot mixtape called "Hoodmorning: Candy Caronas", I'm looking forward to the "R.E.D. Album": http://www.livemixtapes.com/player.php?album_id=14333 Like AJ I've been listening to a lot of '90s CDs lately like LL Cool J's "Mr. Smith", Tribe Called Quest's "Low End Theory", MC Hammer "Too Legit To Quit", KRS-ONE's "Return Of The Boom bap" and of course JJFP's "Code Red" Until recently I didn't know that my favorite mc besides FP and LL KRS-ONE put out a new album but he did which is called "Godsville" with Showbiz and I'm getting that in the mail soon from CDUniverse.com, I heard a lot of these tracks off of youtube and I'm really feeling "Improve Myself": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BczYM8jJkGA bigted
