little keystyle of the mind..

I’m reflecting on the amazing
Things I’ve done in my life blazing
Trails through strain and strife but
Why we focus on what we cant change
and get stuck in the past we never think
to look long range rather let emotions sink
consume and eat within ourselves
upset from the cards been dealt
feeding on disappointment resentment
venting spleens leads to impairment
not functioning on what was meant
or what was said making zero percent
sense except in our own minds
because we operate on a level
where understanding others stands still
and functioning in a society where we will
live as everything has been planned
where actions don’t mean a damn
thing, destined to do what was done before
but why stand back as eagles soar and lians roar?
for those that carve their own path are flawed
opening doors moments dawn and fans applaud
for that one percent who thought a little different
that didn’t get trapped in this life exhibit
running rat races like ants marching
rather impart knowledge already written
that was glossed over ignored and forgotten
for the venomous evil harmful and rotten
people who exist around us nonsense spitting
and sure they can bring you down when reflecting
on the course human beings are projecting
but I’m rejecting divisions and simply
moving outside boxes, sitting and listening
