The actor has just been announced as host of Nickelodeon's 25th Annual Kids' Choice Awards, airing live on March 31 at 8 p.m. (ET/tape delayed for West Coast) from the Galen Center at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Smith recently finished filming Men in Black III, which will release on May 25. The star has been invited to host Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards, a show known for sliming its celebrities. This year is a special broadcast, as the ceremony is celebrating its 25th anniversary. It will be Smith’s first time hosting the show, though he’s won 10 Blimp Awards in the last 20 years and been nominated for five more. Marjorie Cohn, Nick’s president of original programming and development and an executive producer of the show said Smith was an obvious choice.
