VIsqo
I've always heard about this Illuminati stuff but I never looked into it until today when my friend showed me a couple of videos in youtube showing how powerful that movement is and how many artists are associated at least with some sort of promotion of its teachings. I know they are linked to Satanic simbols and pacts with the devil and stuff like that. For example I saw this video talking about how celebrities cover one eye in their album's covers and pictures and looking through some of my albums I was surprised to see the large amount of album covers with the same thing. What do you people think about this?
VIsqo
In the web they are pointing out the trio of Jay-Z, Kanye and Rihanna with Lady Gaga as the maximum representatives in the entertaining world for this group nowadays. With Eminem being recovered and all...
Big Ben
I watched a few videos about the subject back around the time MC Hammer baptised Jay-Z in his music video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MY835L2RYN4 Proff Griff of Public Enemy is a big believer in it.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oi0YFvGKuII For me I just shrug. The people they generally point out as involved don't influence my life in any significant manner.
Silver Tiger
My knowledge on the subject is limited, but here is my current stance on the subject: A lot of people are hypnotized by any Youtube video with creepy music. A trend in popular culture can be perceived as "evil" if you put in a collage with unsettling music. There's tons of videos that link musicians to the Illuminati. Likewise, the Illuminati get blamed for everything. I guess that's because the idea of the group is that they "control the world." So here's my problem... the Illuminati is supposed to be an all-knowing, powerful group with the ability to get done anything that they want. Yet apparently, they are the most vain organization in the world. There's people that claim they hid the destruction of the World Trade Center in the $20 bill DECADES before the buildings were built. Not only are they vain, but apparently they are very picky about who they decide to "take out." Supposedly they take out those that speak out against them, yet videos propagate the internet decrying their existence. AT THE SAME TIME, it's foolish to ignore trends. Now, there's no way I believe Paris ****ing Hilton is smart enough to be associated with these old white men. That's where the "pawn" aspect of the first video linked plays out. It's almost an excuse. I see a bunch of album covers with an eye covered and I'm told that these people are all pawns. So what does that mean? All of these album cover photographers are the one's that are really in on the whole illuminati deal. ALSO, while this video might call them pawns, the next will show clips of different artists referencing "The Sand Man" and claim they are all in on it. It's like the WTC conspiracy theories. This stuff is supposed to be so deep and millions are in on it, yet this VAIN organization can keep this huge secret on a worldwide level? Yet Apple can't keep pictures of the iPad 3 hidden for a month? I'm watching the Proff. Griff videos and I'm 5 deep right now. I gotta say, he's coming off as a guy who's not-so-relevant today that will pretty much say whatever he wants. Really, he's got nothing to lose. He's saying KRS-One is slowly becoming the same pawn as Soulja Boy. This is one of the reasons I have trouble taking this stuff seriously. The people most passionate about it are on the crazy side of the spectrum. Not just about the Illuminati, but on all aspects of conspiracy theories. I give them credit for being passionate about something, but these guys do not know how to make themselves relatable. I gotta say though, these people are entertaining people to talk to if you ever get the chance, just don't become a pawn to them! Use your mind in all aspects. Which means question those who are asking the questions too. My main beef here is that people are imperfect creatures. And every conspiracy surrounding the Illuminati ties them to vanity. People are vain. Some of these conspiracy theories pretty much give the Illuminati God-like powers to control people. This goes so far though, that people like Griff say that blood-sacrifices are tied to the success of their practices. Really? If anything, science and precision would make seem the most likely strategy for a world-controlling organization. Unless of course, God himself wants the Illuminati to thrive. Part of me listens to all of these videos, and I end up questioning myself as I write this. "If I don't believe in the modern Illuminati, what do all of these symbols mean? Why are they there?" As of now, I remember that people are imperfect. We are not prophets. We are people with flaws. Michael Jackson was not killed by the Illuminati and neither was Aliyah. I'm not damage control for the organization. Who knows? Maybe one day I will be just like Griff, convinced that these guys control the world. This is not to say I don't hold my own theories. Obama is continuing failed Bush policies. I believe that the Republican and Democratic party are only different on social levels at this point. But I don't currently believe people are in on this conspiracy on a mass scale. Wow, I wrote way more than I thought I would on this topic. I might make a video about this now. If I stop posting, I probably got taken out.
VIsqo
Lol, I hope you dont get taken out. I dont seriously think all these artists are into that Illuminati thing... I believe some of the producers must be and the photographers. It is overwhelming the big number of pictures of artists with the eye thing or tshirts or something related. Its only fair to ask God for guidance and protection. If I was an artist and they ask me to pose like that and I know that pose is related to this group, personally I wouldnt do it. Perhaps most of those artists dont even know that..
