Members krizia
some artists include Marilyn Manson, Jadakiss, Lloyd banks, Young Buck, Black Eyed Peas, Eve, d12, u2, sting, 2Pac, mya, Nine Inch Nails, Jurassic 5, the Hives, G-Unit, Dr. Dre, Beck, and ironically, Eminem. Will and Em are now label mates Edited September 24, 2004 by krizia
Silver Tiger
I guess we can't win em all huh... Hm, question, anyone know of any other artists that have a beef and are on the same label? God Blessa!
Perry
It is a good thing. Will is an established artist and household name. They'll pretty much let him get on with whatever he wants and I'm assuming Jeff gonna have creative control which they won't mind either. What does Aftermath have to do with this ? People keep mentioning it...

Admin Hero1 Posted September 25, 2004 Admin Report Share Posted September 25, 2004 i still dont believe that news story yet.. overbrook prob already has distrubition through interscope..they had it through dreamworks which has now merged with geffen/interscope.. distibution and being signed by interscope are 2 different things.. hopefully we'll get the latest when will promotes shark tale
Guest lambertj3
will on interscope YAY!
Hypestyle
heh-heh-heh-heh-heh... I know Jimmy Iovine is pleased.. we need some more details on the deal though.. Does Will own his master tapes? since he's more or less got "access" to interscope collaborations, then is a cut with Dr. Dre far behind.. he may do something with the Peas, too.. but eminem? ehh.. I guess em apologized for the swipe on "real slim shady", but unless em is gonna clean it up, i don't see the two of them collaborating.. producers needed- Jazzy Jeff, Rick Rubin, DJ Premier... Oh, and a song with MJB, but what about JILL SCOTT? Edited September 25, 2004 by Hypestyle
Da Brakes
Aftermath is a label under interscope! It goes: Interscope --> Aftermath --> Shady Records
TopDawg14
I hate to burst everyone's bubble but there is no statement whatsoever about Will signing to Interscope on Interscope's website. I know this isn't "the sign" but if a person of Will's stature generates absolutely no buzz on the label's official website then.... I'm not saying anything, I'm just saying... Admin Hero1 Posted September 30, 2004 Admin Report Share Posted September 30, 2004 yeah i dont believe its true until will says it himself..overbrook may have distribution with interscope but i doubt will would have signed with them
Members diehardwill
hi guys, being gone for a minute, how've y'all been? em, interscope? that's a label where they are a lot of will hater's. but what the hell? if it's just to distribute his music which we are all dying to hear then who gives a ....? JumpinJack AJ
If this is true, i wouldn't call it good newz or bad newz. However, Interscope hasn't had any big players since the mid-90's. They've turned in2 a label that only distributes smaller labels. Nothing special about Interscope at all. If they just distribute Overbrook, and FP stays as an Overbrook artist, that would be cool. Members lilkimzone
i think interscope was the best choice...most of their artists seem to be doing well on the charts.
JumpinJack AJ
I still don't think there is anything special about Interscope. Look at the artists above, pretty much every single one of them is on a smaller label that is only distributed thru' them. Interscope is hardly the brains behind the music or promotion.
