JumpinJack AJ
Well, when I first read about this, I thought Fabolous was giving props to FP, but it's actually just a standard freestyle that doesn't say too much. It opens with FP's lines from Pursuit of Happyness and ends with a really weak metaphor. BUT, for those who care... http://www.xxlmag.com/rap-music/new-music/2014/12/fabolous-will-smith-freestyle/
bigted
fabolous is underrated, i always liked his flow, but this ain't his best track, I do like he's giving homage to the old school hip hop artists on his new album, much love for keeping the legacy alive... Turntable
Fab is underrated as an MC because his albums were so weak. The Soul Tapes are okay, but also a bit boring. Breathe however is one of the greatest Hip Hop tracks of the last 15 years.
bigted
fab's albums were so weak? his first two: "ghetto fabolous" and "street dreams" (it was released on my 18th birthdate, march 4, 2003 btw) are classic to me!
JumpinJack AJ
I'm not really a fan of Fabolous. Lyrically, to me, he's about as average as they come. I haven't listened to all of his stuff, but I don't really remember him recording anything very powerful or meaningful. I feel like the only Fabolous songs I really love are the ones with good guest artists, or a producer who gave him a nice mainstream, Hip-Hop sound. His monotone voice and delivery is boring to me. He sounds so uninteresting on his records that I don't even think he's interested in what he's saying.
