Jazzy Julie
Every now and then you hear boom on the radio or in a club, does that not happen in the USA? It's a rap classic here haha.
Admin Hero1 Posted February 6, 2016 Admin Report Share Posted February 6, 2016 That was awesome. It was number 1 in Australia here and is still massive. Everyone knows the lyrics.
DevilsJim89
The US sucks with music...lol I often hear Boom! in sports arenas. I've also heard it on the radio a few times here and there. I don't think it's as huge here though. Wasn't the record Top 10 here? I don't consider that it bombed here. lol
KevTastic
Yeh its still a floor filler here. Up there with the Jump Arounds and Gangstas Paradises of rap throwbacks
Jazzy Julie
It makes me laugh when they play Apache in the club. Half the crowd does the fresh prince dance, the other half doesn't know what the heck is going on.

Schnazz
It's weird hearing everyone love on Boom Shake the Room. Code Red is easily my favorite album, but I think Boom is one of his worst songs. I'm in the midwest US and it did absolutely nothing here. I'm Looking for the One was reasonably popular though. KevTastic
Boom is one of the weaker songs on Code Red in theory. But think about it as a pop rap anthem and the singalong chorus and you can get why it was so popular in a lot of countries. Its a bonafied '90s anthem over here in the UK. bigted
boom shake the room is probably one of will's weaker songs but the jazzy jeff remix is dope!
analogue
If Boom! is as weak as Code Red gets, then that just shows what an amazing album it is.
