KevTastic
If think the Jay-Z/ Linkin Park collab will be interesting. Linkin Park have had their mixes with Hip-Hop before, (Remember that dope X-ecutioners track, It's Going Down). I just don't rate Jay-z as much as most people do, his voice is too bland for me, and even tho it may not be true there seems no passion in his raps. I wont judge him too much cos i have never heard any album tracks by him but his singles have never really got me.
JumpinJack AJ
i am not a real big jay- z supporter but i wouldn't call him commercial aj he is as much hip hop as krs-1 but i donnt like everything he does How can u say that?!? KRS-One would never put out trash like Big Pimpin,' Hey Papi, Change Cloths and all that other crap. Jay-Z is one of the most commercial artists ever in rap. Anyone who has talks about bling in 40% or more of their music is commercial.

Vipa
So what if he puts that stuff on his albums though?
bigted
There's a million people that have skills but only a handful could actually make dope songs, there's a difference between being a dope freestyler who puts together average albums like Jay-Z and being a versatile mc who puts together classic albums like KRS-ONE, there's 100 Jay-Zs for every 1 KRS-ONE. How could Jay-Z beat KRS-ONE when he can't even beat Nas? :dunno: Even though Nas sells millions of CDs, he still represents the essence of hip-hop, unlike Jay-Z who started to represent the bling-bling era once he started going platinum! :cya:
