Da Brakes
'Just Kickin It' is not a diss track. They are elements of battle type lyrics in it, but this is definately not a diss track. Not even a soft one.

Da Brakes
I think if Will wanted to tho he could put out a very good diss track. But he is above that and doesn't need to respond to every rapper that disses him. He has also proved that he is a credible emcee when it comes to responding to ignorant rappers. Check his verse on 'Freakin' It' in response to a certain untalented rapper. Heard you screamin about cream in your rap kid Yo my last check for wild wild west came on a flat bed Once and for all lets get this straight How you measure a rapper what make an MC great Is it the sales? - 20mill Is it the cars? - bently's Is it the women? - jada Is it the money? - please Mr. Clean yet the fact remain Got girls that dont speak english screamin' my name All you rappers yellin bout who you put in a hearse Do me a favour write one verse without a curse

mfuqua23
Will gets attacked by more than one. So whatever he "says", they know who he's talkin to. Jealous rappers, critics, etc.

JumpinJack AJ
"Freakin' It" wazn't aimed at any rapper/emcee in specific. Eminem didn't talk about FP until after Willenium waz out. "Freakin' It" is aimed at all those who apply. FP takes on all those uncreative, cookie-cutter, wack rappers that dominate the charts. He talks about a certain kind of artist, it just turns out that alot of them happen 2 be the ones who have commercial success, yet, haven't earned it. Admin Hero1 Posted December 19, 2004 Admin Report Share Posted December 19, 2004 this makes me think what is wills best lines back at the haters here are some of my favs... "Player haters been hatin on my playin for years Now they seeing they worst fears as I bathe in cheers" "people said that I couldn’t rap ha ha ha well you can stop that coz I’m a rapper and a half and in the past I chose to make people laugh and I was criticized for that some called me soft, some called me wack I gotta admit y’all I felt bad (Who’d ya call) so as usual I called my Dad He’s sort of a fifty-one year old Casanova He said son, "Yo, come on over." He sat me down and he told me this Son when your all that, you’re gonna get dissed" "I was in the game before publishing was an issue Your platinum now, but next year I'm gonna miss you"
Da Brakes
hey da brakes,do you know who could be the rapper that Will respond on this freakin it verse?.......Eminem? Thats what I was getting at! I saw a documentary over here in the UK about battles and diss tracks etc. Will was on it and heavily implied that, that part in 'Freakin' It' was directed towards Eminem. It makes sense when you think about it: "Will Smith don't gotta cuss in his raps to sell records" Eminem - The Real Slim Shady "Mr Clean, yet the fact remains, got girls that don't speak English screaming my name" Will Smith - Freakin It

Hes not one to start crap. Hes smarter than the average rapper. And a part of elite group of emcees in history.
WildWildWillennium
About "Just Kickin' It"...I always looked at it as just a feel good chilled out track...no particular message...just another JJ+FP track that proves their dopeness...and as Da Brakes said, with battle type lyrics... "Here I go again with a groove 2 move u Some kinda smooth u can bob ya head 2"
