bigted
what's up y'all since there's a lot of new peeps here now I figured I'd ask what 10 hip-hop albums besides JJFP albums are in heavy rotation in your CD player, here's mine: 1.LL Cool J "Mama Said Knock You Out" 2.KRS-ONE "Return Of Da Boom Bap" 3. scyhigh99
Don't have the time @ the moment to compile a Top Ten (that'd be tough) but I like alotta the same stuff u have there bigted (Common!) and I'll also mention Jurassic 5 again (the first 6 or 7 tracks on "Quality Control" are all gold). Oh! And I gotta mention I have a soft spot for the rhymes of Young MC (the "Bust a Move" guy) on his album "Stone Cold Rhymin'," which even Will would label candy-rap (you can't laugh tho-- you ppl like Marky Mark). Oh and a great DJ cd with alotta different solid rappers on it is "Hands On" by Nu-Mark (from J5 again). Especially the Chali 2na track. Check that out, now. Oh and Nextmen's "Moving Amongst the Madness." Oh and J-Live's "All of the Above." And even tho he crosses genres, Wyclef Jean is amazing. Let's here it for disjointed, stream-of-consciousness writing!! :eek4: Edited February 6, 2005 by scyhigh99
