KevTastic
he's probably just sounding more hard hitting. Gangsta i very much doubt. I guess cos he's done a track with Snoop will make people think that.
iceonly
yeah i think this album will be much more direct and hard. and the colabs with some artists make ppl think that he's gone gangsta, but i seriously doubt it. scyhigh99
:ditto: (first time I used this smiley - ooooooooo yeah) Hard-hitting? Yes. Gangsta? Doubtful. Just cuz he's doin a collab with someone known for gangsta rap doesn't mean this track will be like that - remember Lil Kim's appearence on "Willenium"? Will had her gasp instead of saying "ass"! I really doubt he's gonna get too "out of hand," even if he is saying "Lost & Found" is a departure of sorts. JumpinJack AJ
FP will never go gangsta. He's dissed gangsta rap his entire career. There's a rumor that his stuff will be harder every album...this ain't nothin' new.
sonic1988
It is probally just gonna have gangsta rap tracks (instrumentals) maybe but I dobut that he will say something like "shame on a nigg@ who tried to run game on a nigg@!" (that was from wu tang clan)

DefCEM
I mean he also did tracks with petey pablo. this guy is known for his hardcore lyrics: Does this mean that FP will curse on the track!? No, i think it will be a good album. But I don't think that it'll be better than Codered or He's The DJ. JJFP Rocks The House
Loco
His style has changed a little bit. In his new video he's dancin' wit' half naked girls and his clothing looks more gangsta but will smith is will smith and definitely no gangsta. Everybody was laughing about him and sayin' he do white music cos' it ain't hard enough for black music. And if he will curse on his new record it won't mean that he's a gangsta now just cos' he's sain' s*** or f***. Lost and Found is gon' be dope and y'all know dat
Admin Hero1 Posted February 11, 2005 Admin Report Share Posted February 11, 2005 Everybody was laughing about him and sayin' he do white music cos' it ain't hard enough for black music. thats a lot of ignorant people back in the day JJFP was playing to 20, 000 strong black crowds..those ppl need to learn they're hip hop history "People hate it when ya better than them they ain hatin start worryin then"
bigted
FP ain't a gangsta rapper or a pop rapper, he's a true mc and that's all that matters. :ditto:
JumpinJack AJ
FP's style isn't really any different. It's just the year 2005, ya know? His lyrics are actually more like his older stuff than his stuff on Columbia. The sound is experimental, but FP has taking his music 2 different places on every album. He's not selling out his style at all. If u got down with him during his reign on Columbia, i could see how "Switch" may seem as a departure from his more recent stuff...but he's not doing anything his hasn't done b4...he's just more focused right now. There isn't gonna be any cussing or gangsta rubbish on the album.
