DevilsJim89
We really shouldn't be complaining. I know I'm not. I love "Party Starter" from what I've heard. Ludacris ain't no gangsta rapper. And isnt the root word of "gangsta", "gang". And doesn't "gang" equal more than one person? Exactly. I love the beat Ludacris made for Will. It's just FP trying another new sound, this time it's Ludacris's dirty south sound. That all up in your face type of sound. Very agreesive and I love it. There ain't no gangsta rap anymore. I don't consider 50 cent or G-Unit gangsta rap. They are a disgrace to the name of rap. NWA, Public Enemy, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre they were all sending a message (usually political) to everyone. 50 and G-Unit just talk about drugs, sex, money..etc. No content at all. The Game is also a joke. They just picked this guy up from the streets. I can't even look at him he's so ugly. lol. But seriously, G-Unit and D12 are just friends of 50cent or Eminem who are just getting some quick cash with zero talent. Big Will thats my name writing rhymes thats my game
Silver Tiger
Party Starter was pretty good for what it was. I'm glad Ludacris didn't have a verse. Now I'm just dissapointed that Snoop Dogg's got a verse on the album and truly great talent like Kel Spencer doesn't. I was watching some TV special on Snoop Dogg that reminded me he's been so involved in porn and such. Will has just been confusing me too much. The freestyle on the radio was really tight. But then I see rappers that are just not up to par with other rappers he's worked with (again, from today to always will I point to Kel Spencer). God Blessa! Hey man Snoop Dogg has dropped a lot of classic hip-hop albums in his career, he has more classic albums in his career than Kel Spencer has recorded songs, FP respects Snoop a lot whether you like it or not. So what if Snoop did pornos, doesn't FP do R-rated movies? What's the big deal, as long as kids don't watch, it ain't a big issue, either way. :ditto: Like I said before as long as the songs are dope I could care less who's on it. Then you just need to respect my opinion. I mean, you're saying all that, but you ain't practicing. If I don't like Snoop doing porn then that's my opinion and I can keep it. And this line stood out "he has more classic albums in his career than Kel Spencer has recorded songs." How do you know that? The only truth you know about that is that he has more albums than recorded songs that you heard. And quantity is not what matters, it's the quality. And Kel Spencer stomps all over Snoop in that department. Really, I don't care how long Snoop Dogg has been in the game. He comes out with some songs that I think are alright every now and then but that doesn't mean I don't think he can fall off. The whole image Snoop tries to present himself is gangsta, whether he really is or not. Do you guys think the name of his album has a hidden meaning or something. I can be a fan of Will's without thinking the man can do no wrong. There are better artists he can work with and better artists he should work with. I really like Born to Reign. Not an opinion shared with a lot of people on this board. I really like Willenium, but the one song I could do without is Da Butta. Fact is Will DOES confuse me. If these are the artists he's thinking are great, what does it have to take for them to be bad? Also, a porno and a R-rated movie are not even comparable. Ali is rated R. I wouldn't care if kids saw that. Don't give the "What's the big deal?" arguement. I don't have to like it, and you have to accept it. Let me share my opinion without sucking up for Will every chance I get. God Blessa!

Hold on man I respect your opinion and I ain't sucking up to FP, I only heard Kel Spencer do 3 songs, they were dope I'll admit that, but I wouldn't consider him an all time great and put him in the same category as FP and LL, I would put Snoop closer to them than I would Kel Spencer, Snoop collaborated with LL before too and KRS-ONE gave Snoop props too, he's more respected in the hip-hop industry, but you don't have to like him if you don't want to but that's a fact. I would rather put legends Rakim, KRS-ONE, Chuck D, LL, or even younger mcs like DMX and Nas that have established careers, Kel Spencer needs to put out an album before I could consider anywhere near those cats. I don't watch pornos either but I won't diss Snoop for that. So what ur gonna diss Michael Jordan too 'cause he goes to strip clubs and gambles? People could do whatever they want as long as they don't harm nobody, we don't have to be dictated what to do. I'm not gonna tell FP, Snoop, or you what to do, 'cause I don't ell anybody what to do, I make suggestions but if don't listen that's ok, I won't hold it against 'cause you have a brain like I have a brain. Admin Hero1 Posted March 2, 2005 Admin Report Share Posted March 2, 2005 i dont think kel is that good..and he certainly hasnt released any classics like snoop.. and whenever these artists come onto wills albums..they come into wills world and dont start cursin etc on his tracks.. just relax man i buy a will smith album to hear Will not any1 else so theres no need to get caught up in on who and who isnt on wills album at the end of the day its irrevelant..its what will spits that counts
Da Brakes
:ditto: And Snoop is a long time friend of Will's! I mean the man's known him for 15 years! If he wants his friend to get down on a track with him, thats his prerogative

Has he toured and made any mixtapes/albums 'cause there's a whole bunch of underground mcs that do that but don't get fame but at least they're out there 'cause they have skills. I think Kel Spencer is probably more of a songwriter and not an mc 'cause if it takes 6 years to release a mixtape or an album as a new artist, something's wrong. DMX debuted on LL's album around that time and his career blew up, Snoop debuted on "Deep Cover' with Dr. Dre and his career blew up, Busta Rhymes career blew up after he was on 'Scenerio' with Tribe Called Quest, so that was a golden opportunity for Kel Spencer to jump start his career with miilions listening to "Willenium" and "Wild Wild West soundtrack" but he didn't obviously after 6 years, if Aceyalone was on "Willenium" he'd be platinum by now probably, he's one of the dopest underground mcs, Kel blew his chance, somebody else should get it. :ditto:
