Troy Johnson (Nu Life Entertainment/Nature's Finest Productions/QD3 Soundlab)

Producer/Songwriter/Musician (Bass/Guitar/Keyboards)

Troy Johnson was introduced to the world of music by his father, George Johnson of the Brothers Johnson. Troy demonstrated his musical inclinations at a very young age, volunteering as assistant engineer on the Brothers Johnson album by age 5, playing guitar at age 6 and learning bass at age 7. Troy is now an accomplished musician, writer and producer. Troy and former writing partner Brycyn Evans formed Nature’s Finest Productions and together they co-wrote and produced songs for T-Boz, Canela Cox, Allure, Torrey Carter and Tiffany. Though his writing partner Brycyn tragically passed away in 2000, Troy continues to write, produce and develop artists for Nu Life Entertainment/ Nature’s Finest Productions/QD3 Soundlab. In the past Troy has collaborated with Missy Elliott, Nappy Roots, DJ Lethal (of Limp Bizkit), Kelly Rowland, and Solange. More recently, however, he has worked with Will Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith along with her band Wicked Wisdom, Native and Australian rap artist Figgkidd.

Cool. The only trax on that list that i remember hearing are 2Pac's Fair Xchange, Kelly Rowland's Simply Deep and Obsession, Tweet + Missy's Big Spender, T-Boz, Wanna Take Me Back, and Ray-J's I Tried. All which are dope songs.

dang thats dissapointed that some no name is producing 70% of Will's trax and the freshmen arent Will + Crew. where does it actually say Troy Johnson is part of The Freshmen? the freshmen implies more than 1 person, so who r they and where is it said that hes part of this group?
