Jonny 5
When i listen 2 "Switch" now, i think it is doper than what it waz when it 1st came out...and that's rare 4 me. ← Exactly what I'm feeling now. For a few months whenever I listened to L&F I would skip Switch, because I'd heard it so many times. But now I really enjoy listening to it. I have actually started skipping Party Starter sometimes when I listen to the album, in the hope that the same thing doesn't happen with it, I expect to hear it quite a lot in the next few weeks... rawad_m
I'm really happy with the party starter release and agree its' a real hip hop song...and on Switch, I agree wasen't wack...that beat by Kwame is distinctive and really hard for any mc to make a coherent song from it..it show's wills skill... KevTastic
Why does everyone hate Freakin It so much. Yeh it was musically nothing special. But lyrically its set the record straight (Proper old skool Whose the best MC track). Plus the video was cool and Jeff was in it. I still like it. Jonny 5
I agree Kev, I don't have a problem with Freakin' It. Just another 'I'm the best' track. The chorus was pretty cheesy but it's offset byt the fact there are some really cool lines thrown amogst it. Jeff being in the video was also a bonus... Da Brakes
I too also really like Freakin it! I saw nothin wrong with it! Sure the beat used had been sampled loads before but so what! Theres been other rap songs which have been sampled numerous times but there just fine!
KevTastic
Good Times, Genius of Love, and that tune 2pac, Arreseted Development and TQ have all sampled. are probably more famously used rap samples
Da Brakes
and that tune 2pac, ← Candy by Cameo! That has probably been done countless times! Still sounds fresh when ever somebody covers it tho!
