I didn't check the nominees...but since 50 Cent, Eminem, and Ludacris were mentioned...it's obvious he's the only Hip-Hop cat nominated...or even talented 4 that matter. It's a popularity contest, Em sold 5 million albums, I'm actually surprised that they would consider nominating Will 'cause the album ain't even platinum, it must be a slow year in music altogether, usually you have to sell millions to be nominated in a pop category, I figure they'd nominate Kanye instead 'cause he's selling more so even if Will doesn't win, at least he beat out Kanye already, he'll probably complain about not being nominated enough again, lol, I'm only gonna watch the show if he's there, if he ain't there I'll probably be watchin' an NBA game instead! :pony: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Anything successful is considered pop. They aren't saying it's boy band bubble-gum pop by putting him in this category. Don't knock the good exposure. Yeah Michael Jackson's the king of pop but his music sure ain't bubblegum, he's just the most popular artist of all time, anything popular is consider pop and well most of it sucks now, that's nice to know that Will's still relevant in the mainstream after all these years.
