Jonny 5
Hey guys, I noticed there was a program on tv tonight called 'The Hip Hop Years'. I thought I'd watch it to see what it was like, it would probably suck. Well, I turned it on just over an hour ago and guess who I see, the very first frame, even before the title screen? You got it - FP! I couldn't not watch it with it starting off like that. It's been great so far, and there's another 2 episodes to come. They're up to about 1981 at the moment so I reckon on tomoro nights episode they're definitely gonna get up to the early 90's - they've gotta talk about JJFP. Anyway, here's the schedule - check it out if you want... 00:10 Wednesday (Think of it as Tuesday since it's just past midnight!) Channel 4 The Hip Hop Years A definitive three-part history of the volatile and innovative musical genre. This second programme focuses on how hip-hop and rap replaced rock as America's biggest-selling music genre. Featuring interviews with Ice T, Daryl McDaniels from Run DMC, MC Hammer, and Chuck D from Public Enemy 00:10 Thurs 29th (Think of it as Wednesday since it's just past midnight!) Channel 4 The Hip Hop Years The final programme in this three-part history charts the rise and fall of gangsta rap and the continued international success of hip-hop. Recent years have seen a marked shift in hip-hop towards music with a more openly populist appeal through artists like Eminem, Missy Elliot and Method Man

Jonny 5
Still, absolutely no mention of JJFP or Will Smith on any of the three shows, although they did play a few seconds of the PJDU video...
