JamesUK
They won't get near to the record, i think that the reason people aren't moaning about mcgrady starting the allstar game is they know he is likely to come up with a ridiculous dunk

Members Avenger
Tommorow will be show, I mean 55th NBA All Stars Game!!! I think this match should be highly colored... West - KB, T-Mac, Steve Nash, Duncan, Yayo Ming East - Shaq, Wade, James, Iverson, JO (but he injured) one of my favorite forwards... What stakes? :1-cool:
Guest Guest
Gilbert Arenas in place of Jermaine O'Neal, is a bit unmatched, and undeserved if you ask me. I mean, paul pierce should be there, I think he brings more to the all-star table then Arenas's 25 points per game, I kinda see him like Kobe, in some way, scoring a lot, because you are the only main focus of the team. I'd prefer a guy like paul there, a creative and effective player that can bring some heat to the all-star game, I mean let's face it all-star game is more about a popularity contest then a game, so I'd prefer to watch ecstatic players who can entertain the audience then a person who gets the ball and shoots it, so regular and not entertaining. I don't care who wins, how many points people score etc. the players also have to see it as an popularity contest and entertain the audience and viewers. That's why, I hope the starting line-up will see VINCE CARTER. I mean out of everyone there he deserves to start and play the most, if it wasn't for him most of these all-star games would have been boring, without t-mac's backboard dunks, shaq's dribbling the ball penetrating doing a crossover haha, I mean that's why people love the all-star game. The east line-up is said to be PG-Iverson SG-Wade SF -Lebron PF -Jermaine O'neal, injured so I hope we'll see Vince carter in his place, and C-Shaq. Just let them play 2 sf's instead of 1 sf and 1 pf. Since Michael Jordan, i've always been a fan of the EAST hehe, so I am hoping for the EAST to win although it doesn't matter much, as long as the entertainment is there. Any predictions on who will win the 3pt contest, allstar dunk contest, skills challenge and all-star mvp awards ?

JamesUK
Kobe Bryant looked surprised. Allen Iverson, meanwhile, was angry. His facial expression was very similar to the one he wears after being mugged on a drive through the lane and being whistled for an offensive foul. "Shocked? What's the word for beyond shocked? I'm mad," Iverson said after a panel of five former Houston Rockets players - including former Sixer Moses Malone, in a critical role - awarded the NBA All-Star dunk championship to 5-9 New York Knicks guard Nate Robinson instead of Iverson's 76ers teammate, Andre Iguodala, Saturday night at the Toyota Center. "Y'all saw what happened," Iverson continued. "That ain't right." http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/sports/ba...ll/13915667.htm

bigted
Yeah a lot of the fans booed when Nate won, he took about 20 attempts before he made his last dunk, btw 2nd half begins tonight, I put Darko on my fantasy team just to see if he does anything since Magic'll give him a lot of minutes
