rcpbball30
Antonio Davis is a class act, he doesn't deserve such a harsh punishment, all he was doing was looking out for his family, which should always come first. David Stern just keeps on screwing up.

3cookies
No, he shouldn't be penialized at all for that. He was doing the RIGHT thing, if anyone should be scrutinized, it should be SECURITY. Under normal circumstances, Security should have paid more attention to detail, and ON THEIR jobs with these sort of things. Normally every year, ATL Braves Security OPNS Chief always ask me to work the Braves games, because of my military background and law enforcement experience. I usually work the Braves or opponents Bullpin areas and if a fan even TALK to the players during the game, they get evicted from the game. Same here, the fan should have been escorted out of the game, and his ticket taken away from returning. That was handled wrong, and honestly, someone had to do something quick, to make it seem under control... I would have had at least 3 security personnel all on top of that b4 Davis even had a chance to react... People may not see it clearly from my perspective, but as a Director of Security, I have personnel that are incompetent, unable and afraid to make sound judgemental decisions in an emergency situation,...so I know thats the ONLY reason that man had to defend his wife,..all because the SORRY ass security personnel were not doing their job. that kinda stuff pisses me off,...because I see it EVERY day with my staff...uggggggggggh. Im abit upset with the whole thing abt him getting penialized, b ecause I see it in a totally different light than u all do... and i know im right abt this too... sorry 4 sounding really angry, but i dont like it one bit... Davis didnt appear angry, nor did he swing at anyone, so any sort of punishment is unjust, in my views...and he shouldn't concur with the penialization... peace, cookie Edited January 23, 2006 by 3cookies

rcpbball30
Artest is a punk, he won't play for Indiana, and now he refuses to go to Sacramento, he should just shut his mouth and play, he is the biggest fool in sports right now. Vipa
know what I find funny..he said he wanted to be traded to a team where he'll be a first option. But then he wants to go to some place like Detroit or San Antonio, where he'll be a 3rd option (2nd at best)... Come on don't sugar coat it Ron, you want a championship contendor RIGHT NOW... Very true. I mean, he wants out of Indiana, so he finially gets a chance to leave, but then pulls out. I don't know what he is thinking. Not a smart move by Ron. bigted
I don't think Artest wants to play basketball, he's probably working on a rap album or something :lolsign:
MaxFly
I don't think Artest wants to play basketball, he's probably working on a rap album or something :lolsign: Ron Artest is gangsta... There's no other way to put it. Something's definitely not right with him. In a past interview, someone asked him what he would like to do if he didn't play basketball, and he said that he would like to teach math to inner city kids... Something is not right with the dude. True story... Ron Artest got a part time job at Circuit City during his rookie year so that he could get discounts on stuff he bought. This is Ron Artest making upwards of half a million dollars after taxes... Something isn't right... Peja must be pissed. It's one think to be talked about in trade negotiations, but to actually be traded especially after he said that he would like to stay in Sacramento... Sacramento has drama on their hands... Even R. Kelly couldn't have written a better one.
