Lerkot
Me and my friends are building a rap track and slowly developing it to become somethin revolutional! The name of the project is "Return of the Disco Rap" and our deadline is March 1 since thats when we are going to play the track on the local radio in my city. About 1000 people will hear the show and if it becomes a success we might perform it at other local parties and maybe create a local hit, lol. Anyway, here is the first version of our track: Ey yo I am SB the man with the master flow now when I tell you to start you gon go dancing to the beat, the beat, the beat Start, listen to the music, the music, the music its sick and it is gonna move your body when you hear it The heart goes faster and rap gets badder and you cant stop clapping to my rapping Stomp your feet and enjoy my beat while I tell you this story that's quite unique I was swinging in the local record store when I saw this foxy lady Ive never seen before She said I need a rap so I can dance so I can stomp my feet and clap my hands the store owner said thats to old I raised my hand and screamed out Yo listen here and move to the flow and break on the floor like never before I am SB and I am your knee and Im your whole body but some sucker emcee stole my style since im so darn versatile, break it down and give the record to yourself and your child Move the feet back and forward and I go wild make it more advanced like break dance and feel the heat while you stomp to the beat No crap to the creep and If you aint like my beat take a seat because my rhyme will return the disco heat Dont you remember how it was back in the days when Sugarhill was moving the place the emcees where the main attraction of the disco action and it gave the ultimate satisfaction So when I today revive the place with my disco I want ya'll to be on the floor, dance some more and if you cant dance take a chance like you never ever never ever never ever did before
mfuqua23
Really cool read. Will be really good to hear. But I have a question. What are some Disco Rap tracks? I didn't realize there was a distinguished sound named that.

Lerkot
Really cool read. Will be really good to hear. But I have a question. What are some Disco Rap tracks? I didn't realize there was a distinguished sound named that. There was no name on the sound before I gave it a name, lol. The really old hiphop tracks like King Tim III and The Breaks are really disco influenced, which in my perspective means that you rap (mostly) about dancing and how good you are while you keep your voice very clear and a bit elegant, in some way. Lerkot
http://personal.gamingeye.com/lerkot/TheRe...lphaversion.mp3 This is the pre-Alpha version of the song, version 0.1. We got a beat, and since ive always been rapping to a metronome, it will take some time for me to learn real beat rapping since theres no way in hell thay I got the musical rhythm in my blood. If you think it sounds even more worse than my things usually do, thats probably since im pretty sick right now.
kbfprince
Ur voice does sound different than before, but still interesting nonetheless. Flow was off on parts, but since its the first version it doesn't really matter. Some parts flowed well though. Nice beat.
