sonic1988
here in NYC at about 3a.m. or so the TWU(Transit Workers Union) has ordered everyone to go on strike. This means that EVERY bus in the whole city and EVERY train(subway) is not running today. Since I'm nere in the middle of this I'm taking today off (no school is closed, only a 2 hour delay). Now there are alot of rules about how to get into manhattan. there are no commercial traffic until 11am, and you can't get into manhattan (south of 96st to eb exact) without 4 people in your car. now I gotta figure a way to get to my school by tomorrow. sonic1988
wow, cristigolo you were lucky for that. Last year our teachers did a "sick-out" (where each teacher calls in sick in protest) and we had off. adn you are also lucky reborn. but now I'm not actually going to school, my mom called the school and they said that it would be okay if I'm absent. But here in NYC there are alot and I mean ALOT of three day weekends, so that is probaly why you have two weeks off.
