thePrince
The New World - 17th December 2005 Part 1: Echoes down the corridor My Commanders are dead, in the division of life, Burned out this globe, dearest master of the night, Make believe in the punishment, driven forth down the road, Bombs in the air, streets overflowed, In my hands I commence, bringing life a new look Taking risks with death, reading the forbidden books. Chalice of kin, kingdom of throb, Aurora in the placid, of the emaciated macabre, Dissonant leaders, begging me of their names, Perishing vessels of blood, starving tyranny saves. Look to the shadows! Confidiante, I feel as close now as ever, Abstracted maiden I love, in the depthless dissever, Reading rights teeming in blood, self-assurance inside, Of the cursory grave, in the dawning of time, Made me beseech for my life, made me plead for a reason, In the watery grave, of the sequestered artesian. Draw a portrayal of life; I have not but a meaning, On the walls of my kingdom, that the illusions are bleeding, Sanity on the cross, vanish me in the shadows, Countrymen in the dusk, ending hopes for the battles. Part 2: Revelations Dear Father, dear Mother, I have come, Underneath vehement tissue, of the forgotten sun, Breaking skies passed the eyes, of an aphotic staring cloud, Underneath all the ruins of the decaying closing shroud, Manifested through corruption, congruent, the end, Leaving me restless, without a defense. Revelation starts to dematerialize, creating destiny as one, Making sure that no one lives, under the death-defiant sun, Gravitation built on vigor, giving barricades a chance to break, Aftermath of nothing sacred, one last choice to make. Revelation! Flaming clouds, burnt fields, veiling my hope, Blood red, blackened veins, dead on the slopes, Cut free, let free, tear apart the acid, Master of nothing, sensing it grow rancid. God given powers, a pre-destined defeat, On the plains of Black Friday, make Monday complete, Shadows of nightmares, once written wrong, Sing chants of adversity, on sidelines of dawn. Part 3: Drowning in the illusion of time The New World. Lord give me power, for the sins I have taken, Malevolent rights, hands of God, for I have forsaken, Chosen one, I am he, sharpening knives for my death, Underneath sultan skies, through the balms of my breath, I walk through the nuclear fields of yore, hoping power to my mind, In the sentenced death I have, walking through the end of time, Solitude in my honor, blood red is my name, Red transfusion of life, written words wrote in vain. Granite in the citadel, ashes in the church, Blackened bird of evil, sits upon his flaming perch, Massacred innocence, evil took place, Death on the stones, religion's still burning inside, Taking tokens of great gold, raising fire in the halls, Until the end of time, my broken life is all, Walk in my shadows, the visions unfurled, Now that we die, we have seen The New World. kbfprince
Howd you come up with that concept? welcome back.
thePrince
Mainly through an interest in mythological, historical and biblical events. I had the concept for a few months, but it wasn't until recently that I was able to figure out the right wording to say it how I wanted it. thePrince
Nah, it wasn't actually. My motivation to write it was from reading one of Big Willies rhymes ("Realisation") a week or two back. I sent him a message after I'd finished writing it, telling him what motivated me to write it, so that's what he was hinting at. :2thumbs:
