Lerkot
I remember FP said that when he was young, he always wanted to speak like Julius Erving (whoever that is) when he made interviews and stuff, so I wonder, does anyone have any audio or video with Erving speaking? Guest renagade_tim
i aint got an audio interview but Erving is a great Basketball player that played for the New York Nicks and the Virginia Squires back when we had a team
bart5
Dr. J is a legendary basketball player, that is in the basketball hall of fame, and made the NBA 50 Greatest players list (he is probably in the top 10 best players to ever play). I was able to find a short audio clip from an interview of him. But this what Erving sounds like now a days, and when FP said he wanted to talk like him, Dr. J was probably in his 30s just to let you know. So he might talk a little differently. Here is the link to the interview: http://www.achievement.org/autodoc/page/erv0int-

MaxFly
Yeah, Dr. J was a great player. He's considered the first coming of Michael Jordan.
Jonny 5
He probably just meant he wanted to talk intelligently and not say any rubbish... I thought I recognised the name James, he gets a shoutout on 'We Live In Philly' I think...
