mfuqua23
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=364535 This is a song that will hopefully be featured on the 'Positiv(e) Hip Hop' mixtape, run by Lerkot. It's a full on of compacted lyrics and mixed beats. I'm not entirely sure if the audio is good enuff. January 29, 2006 - February 3, 2006 ©2006 Ayo, real hip hop is back Every artist on this mixtape, we made a pact to impact those that feel rap, those that fear rap And let corporate know, we're grabbin' ahold of what was once slack from those who claim to spit Man, I ain't tryna get AIDS and **** You diseased the game way too much Too many hip hop heads at the clinic be lining up Missin' the good vibes that's cool for the mind Opinonated styles, society is wide What's keepin' Hip Hop from where it started to be? I'm talkin bout in the streets, not on tv Stop complainin' that you lost your voice cuz you insignificantly gave it up all by choice Know that corporations feel they need us but we don't need them for spray cans, turntables, or the mic in our hands... I got rhymes, give me room to release em in my own zone, I feel at home, but my speeches is reachin' all types of people, different area codes Supply the label, either friend or foe You know who's watchin', nobody's spottin' They rather let the heavy drop kid So you got to go solo and young, like a LeBron James game... Watch me, get a greater denominator of haters Just cuz they ain't in to my flavor My fans will savor, but I'll still mass the product Music is my life, I'm almost dependent on it I seen the drama mixed of hard heads and fakin it We're not from the same mold, so the cut I ain't makin it nor following successes of some gangsta fads I thought you was supposed to make it, but you just got passed; This one is for my brother in Dayton Know to watch my back for them chicks that I'm datin' I remember us listenin' and discussin' the real Everyday situations or the U-N-C Tar Heels U went from a playa to wise man, lookin out for Jaylyn I went from a shy kid, to speakin floetic knowledge with some pad and pens, few friends I'm tryna hold down my own ends Moderate movin', and stashin' cash for the better lifestyle that we choose to have... but you can't grasp it, the government is stressin' and people on ya block laughin' at your profession If you was paid for love, you'd be a rich person but instead of those feelins at heart, you need cash in hand We envision different, but the struggle is the same All we wanna do is get ahead in the game but we're stressed, yet still searchin for positive reinforcement Those who are like us, and choose to represent... I remember dribblin' up the drive, hearin' the Luniz "I Got 5" on the radio in the night, everybody vibin' right Chillin' on the porch, that family support is what's important to me We stick together til we D-I-E I only got 5 minutes of fame, so I'm at it again Recognize the vibe presented and FuQ is the name Sound so classic, if it was sex, it'd be orgasmic of course Feel the force, that's breaking you off... Get close baby girl, I'll show the most epic of a time We're destine to be together, I gotta make you mine When you come around, nothing else would matter Keep them bad guys offa you, if they tried to get at cha If you chose me, you'd know the true '"Flavor of Love" instead wannabes wantin' one thing and make you bug My feelins for you is so on Don't plan on jumpin on then off and leavin my heart torn If you gone thru the same, then you know what I'm sayin' My love is yours for the takin' It'll hold you, trust you, respect your existence like the sun, not always there to make the light glisten My intentions is to have one woman make sense of the world with me for which we live in From the old school ways to the new school ways Understand baby, that I got it made... I can't feel, his buzz and his skill Mr. Big time rap star bringin' in mils, the difference right here I'll get on the mic with fear or hesitation Rather reach em live than on a radio station Watch the swagga, listen to lyrics that matter If they claim to entertain, I'll bet that I'll surpass em No matter the fashion, I got the better style and rap techniques that be knockin you out... Can't get ya revenge like Roxanne Shante You don't even possess the lyrical prowess that she did in her day The 80s was simple and kickin' it smart Now everybody's makin' bad records, and hopin to chart Who cares, who goes where as long Hip Hop is enjoyed with our hands in the air True Hip Hopers, where's ya at? Bring back the four elements with that clap... (3x) Break dancers hit the floor Graffiti artists spray the wall DJ, spin that, spin that Emcees, get on the mic to rap
