Turntable
it is good that they are now releasing the katrina song, but wasn't the september, 11 song released on MJ's number ones album? It aint on my version. And as far as I know it also aint in the Collector Box, I gotta take a look. Maybe it`s on The Essential, I dont have that one.. sonic1988
but there was that extra track that was new wasn't that the song? the song "one more chance" wasn't that the song? also the essential MJ collection only has hits, no new tracks at all. I will get it myself because I want some jackson 5 stuff.
Jazzy Julie
im pretty sure he scrapped the 9/11 song. Wasnt the one more chance song just an extra song on some sort of greatest hits album ( ive lost track of how many of these hes done). rawad_m
There was a 9-11 Charity song, "what more can I give" which is a fairly good song, but it wasen't released at the time because of Mikes clash with Sony, I think it's available to download now from places like itunes though Edited February 20, 2006 by rawad_m
Turntable
There are also charity songs for the Katrin victims. R. Kelly made one called "Let You`r Light Shine" which was amazing. I also know that Prince made one too.. But they didnt seem to ger much support, I guess also partly caus of allot of the attention was focused on the making of this song here. rawad_m
I agree with AJ and the others. Its not a laughing matter. When sumone mentions katrina, the victims are more likely thankful to still be in people's thoughts n prayers. Why would they zip their mouths, and laugh at the dreadful situation they're in? thas insane 4 u to even go there. Maybe u think they were treated in a way thas a 'joke', to the point of u gettin a laff from it,... but obviously others opinion differ. This kind of needed help takes tyme,...so its a good thing ppl 2 see ppl STILL talkin abt it, as it gives the victims a good chance of gettin help thas STILL needed. I can't criticize MJ, cause altho its been a min, at least he's doing sumpthin thas far better than nothing... peace, cookie
