JumpinJack AJ Posted February 28, 2006 Report Share Posted February 28, 2006 Yeah, all of FP's stuff is under his own publishing. I'm not sure sure the music business works with that kinda thing. U'll see some "Best of..." and "Greatest Hits" albums that only have an artists' best music from their current or former record label. For instance, Snoop Dogg's new "Best of..." album has none of his Deathrow stuff on it, which is crazy cuz half of his biggest hits were while he waz on Deathrow. The combination of his music being under his own publishing AND his cash flow make it so that he should have no problems using his stuff on Columbia for future "Greatest Hits" projects.
