J-o-e
It did deflect of the defender but I believe it would of bounced in, but that's something for the Fifa Officals to decide tomorrow, we will all find out then.
Big Willie
It was an own goal. I think the keeper would have hada better chance of claiming the ball had the deflection not occured. It's gonna be assessed, they may give it to Beckham. But it was a cross, not a shot. Beckham just has such good delivery every cross. if not touched, has a chance of going in. If I'm honest, I dont care who gets the goal, teh 3 points is all I care about.
cristigolo
That was a good match between Argentina and Cote d'Ivoire. I only saw the first half but it was pretty good. Nice goals for Argentina. Too bad Drogba & Co. didn't have luck. What do y'all think about the ball this year? The design is cutting edge in my opinion and the fact that it hasn't a lot of stiches should increase the goal average, in my opinion. J-o-e
its lighter than any other ball, more height and swerve...it could be a difficulty but the players are talented enough to ajust to it.
Lerkot
Holland showed that they are the best team in Europe when it comes to passing but had some problems reaching Ruud van Nistelrooy. Its very hard to score goals in 2006 on anything else than counter-attacks.
KevTastic
A good first few days in the vup. Ivory Coast have impressed me. England started so well only to moan about the heat, and a few shocks as well. Sweden will beat Paraguay i think but i predict a draw against England, it'll see them through though. I think England will comfortably beat T&T 3-1. Looking forward to the Aussies and the Brazilians games coming up soon
