Schnazz
So this is a song about programmers, so if you aren't a programmer, you probably won't appreciate it... at all. But I figure there could be a programmer or two lurking around here, so I'm posting it. It's a remake of a Gilbert and Sullivan song (Major General) or for the less sophisticated individual, such as myself, it's a remake of an Animainiacs song (Cartoon Individual) I am the very model of an elitist Software Engineer My Kung-Fu is wicked fast, the code I write is very clear I've master many languages, compiler theory I have read From C++ to Python scripts but not Cobol cuz it is dead I can debug any crash I see always in two minutes flat Add a data-break and check the heap, I've got techniques all down pat If all else fails, I'm out of clues, and I really have hit the wall There's one last trick, in my bag, I go and do a Rebuild All I sleep all day and code all night drinking Mountain Due by the case The only break that I take is a couple hours to watch Office Space Then I go back to my darkened room with a couple Twinkies in my hand And before I code I go download the torrent of my favorite band I always shower once a month, but thats ok cuz I never date When I meet a girl I say nothing because I find I can't relate I just go home and fire up my latest clips of Pr0n downloads Then I scrutinize my sorry life and then decide to write this ode Because: My Kung-Fu is wicked fast, the code I write is very clear I am the very model of an elitist Software Engineer
mfuqua23
Your a programmer and I'm not. When it comes to "pro-gram-ming" with such a thing, I have no idea. So in reading this, I have no idea. And that means it's good.
